I didn't eat here, but it's my mom's favorite Mediterranean restaurant! I left because I didn't see many good options for my intolerances (gluten, dairy, sugar), but mom loves their salads and dishes! The cakes look INCREDIBLE. The service was very kind and attentive and the theme was really cool. I would recommend swinging by here if you get a chance!
Food was not good. It lacked seasoning and flavor. I got the eggplant parm which is a favorite dish of mine. I could not eat it and sent it back for a gyro which was just as tasteless. The pita was fresh and so was the salad though which was the only saving grace for the food. The service was nice and the place was clean. 1 star for the terrible food.
Fast friendly service from the moment we walked in. Indoor & outdoor seating is available. Went on a Tuesday around 11:30am and was seated immediately, saw a waiting line after 12pm. Food was delicious large portions (we were able to share/split) The Big Greek Platter with 3 Greek meats (lamb gyro, chicken & Greek meatballs) plus a lg Greek salad, pita bread and tzatziki sauce. Had room to start our desserts of Baklava & chocolate covered eclair (took home 3/4 of each).
Lovely atmosphere. Great experience.
Only suggestion is to have a lunch menu insert with lighter smaller portion options.

the salad with the meal was the right size, so i could enjoy each bite with a different protein! it was like eating 4 maybe 5 different meals! also the pita was just delightful & had kind of a fluffy center, AND it was FRESH!!
i will be back & will remind people why this place has been a staple in Asheville for 25+yrs!!!
oh, dont forget about the housemade dressings!!!
We had the lasagna and Greek spaghetti. Both were amazing. More than one person can eat. Found out as we paid for our meal they prefer cash.
Entire experience was very pleasant from the moment I walked in I was greeted and guided where to order. Take out was brought to me amazingly fast and the food was great quality. They even provided extra napkins, forks, crackers, side dressings all without me having to ask. Will be a continuing customer as I work close by.
Maybe it's just me, but the food here is very bland. It's like it's made for old people or something no love is in it. I've been to both locations now, and it's a no for me. The gyro is decent at best. The eggplant parm was pretty bad. Super friendly staff but a miss on flavor. And the plates are so tiny the food just falls off of them, and it's almost impossible not to make a mess.
This little place was wonderful. Food so delicious and fresh. Our waiter was great. We were very impressed. Highly recommended this place
