Absolutely delicious! Everything we tried was a hit & very flavorful. The ribs fall right off the bone & the BAKED BEANS were to die for. The service was amazing. Everyone was friendly, quick, and kept a smile on their face. Our server was Kat, she was very attentive & super sweet. She even threw in some cookies for us, which were mouth watering. We will definitely be back.
The hype is understated. AMAZING! BBQ enthusiast here, from Carolina to Texas. The hickory & oak smoked meat is fantastic. 20 hours, and great smoke ring to the brisket. Sauces are awesome too. Must have: brisket, brisket, brisket!
Mac & Cheese + cornbread! Don’t forget a spicy margarita! Service is great & Jeff the owner is on site, involved & passionate. Learned he was inspired by cooking for his family. Will definitely be back. Best BBQ in the state! Free beer while you wait for a table. Walk in only, no reservations.
Finally made it down here. Been following for months but today was the day I got to experience the food. This was worth the drive. Empanada with Brisket was crunchy and moist. Wings were flavorful and only $1 each. I had to try the brisket which had an amazing smoke ring and still really moist.
Baked beans were great. Corn bread is iconic and had a depth of flavor with the honey and salt flakes.
Also got the smoked old fashioned and another drink.

Absolutely delicious and the service is phenomenal! Our server Alexis was so sweet and recommended the best food! I love coming here. We had the Dino rib with fries, coleslaw, and corn bread.
Best BBQ in all of Florida. Amazing to find a place like this in South Florida.
The ribs are soft, flavorful and the meat falls off the bone. The brisket was my favorite. Thick, flavorful slices, not too much fat and amazing flavor. The corn Elote was very good as well. Pigs in a blanket (pork belly in a pineapple sauce) was fabulous.
The BBQ is a 10 out of 10. The servers were excellent but we did have a 30 minute wait. Pro tip: they offer free beer and water while you wait.

I’m a Miami native who lived in Texas many years and then moved back. I’ve searched every corner of South Florida looking for barbecue that compares to what you find in Texas and couldn’t…until I found Apocalypse BBQ. Brisket on par, if not better, than what is considered by many to be the best in the country. The cornbread and sides are fabulous too. And if you have to wait for a table they give you a free beer. Who does that?? Throw in the great hospitality from Jeff and his team and this is an absolute gem. You have to try it!!!!!
If you are in the mood for BBQ, don’t bother going elsewhere. If you are craving a burger, don’t bother going elsewhere either.
Straight forward joint and super organized host system. We waited an hour and a half, enjoyed a free beer and water while we waited. Friendly staff as well, kept checking to make sure we were good!
