I have never stayed in a filthy, dirty, trashed placed outside rooms and elevators in my life. Felt like the primitive ages. This hotel should be closed for several health violations. The floors and the carpets smell like the dumpster. The rooms are substandard and not maintained at all. There was a lizard in our room. The towels were low quality.
All in all unbelievable.Guests were yelling at the staff for the beds had just box springs or substandard mattresses. There was fighting going on day and night in the room next to ours. Things were thrown around. Pretty scary experience for our family.
I enjoyed my stay. They are in-between renovations but it's still clean. Best prices in town!! If you're looking for a good night's sleep and hot shower. smoking permitted on balcony. Just bring your own soaps because that's the only I didn't see. Maybe some extra towels the floor got pretty wet from the shower curtain being short. Already made reservations for next stay.
Stayed under my fiance's name, Anthony, and this being our 2nd visit, it was ok. The front desk staff was very nice to accommodate us a room close to what we wanted. The room was nice and more clean then others. When we first came in we were told that the pool was going to be open within the next couple days. 2 weeks later and still wasn't open. No biggy. Just would have really loved a dip in the pool. Although the room was nice, location not so much. Right next to the highway/road where alot of loud cars came through. Again, not their fault, just saying. Will probably come back again, if need be.
Front lobby area is nicely remodeled and the check-in staff was polite and professional. The room was pretty rough, sheets didn't have a nice fresh and clean look so I pulled them back and the mattress pad was pretty nasty. There are signs in the room warning of fines for breaking hotel rules, zero decor...I left and chose not to stay. The almost four star review convinced me to book but I should have been a little more skeptical based on the price. There is a major remodel underway so maybe in a year?
The hotel is being remodeled and the staff is nice.
The Positives: The room is big and clean, real cable & it has a balcony, big pool & kid waterfall.
The Negatives: They except you to take your trash to the side of the hotel, it's hard to get extra linen, most of there rooms only have one bed. No smoking rooms.
Overall I would stay there again.
The establishment is the nastiest place I have ever stayed at. The first room I was given wasn't clean the employee that was assigned to clean the has the nastiest attitude and the front desk employee was clueless. The 2nd room I was given on the same floor was infested with ants. Called the front desk to see if they would provide me with bug spray was told she would send maintenance. The maintenance guy was also clueless I bumped into him in the hallway doing his weekly pest control which wasn't controlling anything. The 3rd room I was given on the same floor was infested also. Staff is rude. Rooms are decently decorated but the bugs make the establishment undesirable especially with a baby.I will never stay at this establishment again. Please don't waste your money. Make reservations elsewhere.
The hotel was extremely dirty - the lobby and our room. The updates to the hotel seem like they would be nice, but in our room the tub was missing its molding and we could see through to the subfloor. Bathroom was dirty with dead insects and hair when we arrived. No trash can or hangers in room. No hairdryer either. Had two towels and no washcloths for the first night (three guests), asked for more and didn’t get them until the next night. Room was recently painted (nice!) but they didn’t cover the new flooring and it was covered in paint splatters. The smoke detector was hanging from the wall by wires. No tv remote at first, was delivered one and told “we don’t know how to program them” so it didn’t work. The water never got more than like warm. No room service the entire stay (three nights). The comforters on the double beds were twin sized and didn’t cover two people sleeping in one bed. I would absolutely not return here, I don’t care how cheap the room is.
Got bounced through 5 different rooms due to either no lights, flooding through my room, and BUGS IN 4 OUT OF THE 5 ROOMS. They refused to give me a refund, and I had to go purchase my own can of Raid just to stop the bugs from crawling all over my room. The whole hotel is dirty, half of the staff did not wear masks, and there are flooding/bug issues in many rooms, which I heard from other guests. This hotel is by far the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at, and by refusing my refund they proved that they don't even care about the condition of their hotel or the happiness of their guests. I will never stay at this hotel again and I sincerely hope no one else does, either.
