Location is PRIME!!! Hotel staff are absolutely wonderful and very considerate! They are so welcoming and everyone here are pet lovers if you are traveling with your dog! The pricing is affordable and there’s a coffee shop right on sight with delicious options! To spite the speculation of the location and traffic in the area, the staff do an amazing job keeping up with everything and go above and beyond to create a very welcoming atmosphere ????????????
Traveling as a single mother, it means so much to me!
Very run down property and felt uncomfortable with vagrants walking around lobby. Asked lady what was going she stated they just evicted homeless people from rooms. Very strong smoke odors on 4th Floor and in rooms. Was not given rm that was booked on booking.com. 1st room has 2queen beds turned TV looked like someone punched broke screen. Not what I thought I had booked. Went back to lobby told lady that room was not satisfactory and not what I had booked. She gave another room on 4th floor and said it was last room. 2nd room did have king bed but didn't feel like a suite. Very strong odor of smoke in rm .Door lock broken AC/Heater was dirty broken and repaired with black electrical tape. Was a very uncomfortable. Since rm was prepaid with $50 deposit that was supposed to returned to credit card by 7 days. 13 days or 9 business days was finally completed. Not acceptable. Hagerstown,ma government need to shut this delapadated property down. It is not habitable or safe.
I am a PhD educated professional and I enjoyed my stay. The price is good and the location is great. The staff is courteous and competent. It was very clean. The guests I encountered were nice people who minded their own business (No entitled “Karen’s”). My room was nice quiet and clean with a nice new floor. I had an awesome city view. This is the best hotel in Hagerstown in my opinion
My family and I had 3 rooms. Spon checking in the gentleman at the front desk was very polite . The blonde haied lady that said she was the gm. She was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. She is a very rude person . But back to our 3 room my daughter stayed in 272 and found bedbugs and a crack pipe the room was not cleaned. My husband was in room 485 I cleaned that room and it was filthy. The sheets were dirty the bathroom was filthy. My autistic son and I stayed in 479 I also had to clean that room. The bathroom was dirty the sheets were dirty . When I said about putting us in different rooms they cldnt put us on the same floor cos they were remodeling and another thing they cldnt give my husband a key for his room cos the card rereader needed redone and the were still waiting for the card to come in cos they lost theirs. That hotel was very gross. I work at a hotel as a house keeper and that hotel needs shut down and have it cleaned before they let anymore guests stay there. I work at a hotel and have been a housekeeper forn31 years and they really need to teach their housekeepers how to clean a room.
Do not stay here. It’s dirty. The staff is rude. They will rip you off and not give your security deposit back. The clerk hung up on me when I called about it. Stay away. If you have been cheated by this hotel, please file a dispute with the bank or credit card company, Maryland attorney generals office, and the better business bureau of Maryland.
Wow. Do not take your family to this place. Very dangerous environment inside and outside of the hotel. Very poor service. Rooms are very diry and unsanitary. Kid could digest some type deadly substance if it crawls or is a lil one pron to be curious. Toilets wouldn't flush. No toilet tissue available in the hotel. Staff was confrontational one confronted. Very poor management to say the least. The pictures the have of this hotel is from a very long time ago when it was the luxurious hotel called the Venice inn.
Wonderful people. Very clean and kept up to date. I loved the rooms. They was very clean and organized. I enjoyed the coffee shop that's in the lobby. Also has beauty salons and more. It was a wonderful stay and I'll be coming back more often.
Very nice people. Very clean. Inside and out. The rooms was very comfortable and nice. Didn't have no problems or anything. Had clean towels and wash cloths. The beds was very nice and clean. I didn't want to leave lol. Honestly the best hotel in the Hagerstown Maryland area.
