Been coming here for years. It's really changed. The food was still AMAZING. The dill sauce and grouper sandwich was off the chain. Now for the bad....it used to be a really nice sit-down affair. Same prices but it's all counter service with a rather surly cashier. They don't even bring you the food. Everything comes in to-go boxes. AND there is a mandatory surcharge of 15% no matter how you pay. I always tip well but I balk at tipping for ZERO service. Also, the cashier put it as a tip which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Won't be back. There are too many wonderful places to eat in this area to tolerate this.
The blackened grouper and shrimp was true spice. It was delicious. The salad was loaded with real greens... not just iceberg and paired with the dill ranch, it was perfect. The vibe is low key but busy. They are dog friendly for outdoor seating. We love that. It's a great central location for walking the downtown area and doing some shopping before and after. And....they serve beer and drinks....To Go if you want.

Warning, this is now called "Up to No Good Tavern at the Grill." Google Maps has not made the name change. Tried this place for lunch. It seems the menu is basically the same as on-line, but this is no longer a sit-down restaurant. Prices are the same or higher, but now you have to go up to the counter to place your order. They do bring your food to your table, but if you want a soft drink refill, you have to go to the counter. Plastic silverware in little plastic bag wrappers, paper plates, or plastic baskets with waxed paper liners, like you would expect on the beach, but without the beach. Food was nothing special. I had a crab cake along with Brussels Sprouts, which were on their "Daily Specials" list. The crab cake was grilled, not sauted, and the texture was like tuna salad, not lump crab. Yuck. Brussels Sprouts were greasy with minced bacon (I think- no identifiable pieces) and something spicy hot. Wouldn't order again. Spouse had a grilled shrimp basket, which had small, but not over-cooked shrimp. With one glass of wine and one iced tea, the bill was $60. Too many other places to go for full-service and better food & service. Not very clean, tables and chair seats were dirty, windows dirty. You can do better. Save your money...

OK this place is amazing. We had our first stop here shortly after Hurricane Michael. It was delicious and we were SO hungry after dealing with hurricane %^#@ for a week. We have started to go back here while we’re in Apalach. We had the fried grouper sandwich (probably the best fish sandwich EVER) and the Captain’s basket (grilled) which was a little of everything. Really good. The salad was fresh and a good way to start. Def worth a stop while you’re in town. Service was excellent. Oh and get the French Silk Pie. It’s outstanding!
Come in, find a table, order your food, be delighted. The only issue I had was the tarter sauce…with such great grouper I would have liked fresh dipping sauce. Chicken tenders were good and shrimp was great!
This place was decent. They had you get a menu and find your own table then you had to order at the counter and get the food when it was done (there was no waitress service.) The food was good and there was a good portion for the price.
