I've been there a few times hardly anybody in the restaurant when I'm there. They have a QR code on the table you scan it to get your menu. That was different. Food's pretty good waitress is very nice and does her job well
Southern style restaurant, with ample seating. We came for the special Friday seafood buffet and left happy. Loved the crab cakes and cheesy grits. There wasn't even much of a crowd to deal with.
The price was more expensive than was printed on the menu, with no correction noted anywhere. I'm not sure how that works legally, but be aware of that. Price included a drink, so it's still fairly economical, but not what I was expecting.
I had the buffet on a Sunday at 11 am. The food was fresh and hot. The fried chicken was very good and most other sides were good as well. I love chicken and dumplings. My grandmother cooked them and know how they should toast. These tasted nothing like they should of tasted. They tasted like water. It was very weird tasting. I got my sister in law to taste them and she was even shocked as to how bad they were.
The service was good. It took her a long time to even see us. It is seat yourself so the server didn’t know we were there until 15 min later. Once she came over it was fine. She was nice and bubbly. I asked her what type of desserts they had on the buffet. She said I have no idea anything the cooks concocts. It was funny and I found a dessert that was good.
Overall a good experience for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere.
Great little place to stop and eat. Good country fried steak and mashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed his cubed chicken with peppers and onions. Our waitresses were very friendly and attentive.
Love the Southern charm of the waitstaff staff and great Soul Food! The Trashalachee breakfast plate is a go-to for breakfast. And the salad bar for lunch/dinner is always a favorite!
Wonderful made to order hot food! I got the trash plate! It's a pretty big portion! The menu is online and it seems like you could order through it . It even pops up what table you are at. However you have to order your food through the nice lady. ???? It's all good. The food was terrific and so was the service! Make sure to take your appetite!
Local hometown sorta place where they all know each other’s name. Easy parking, easy to find, service was awesome our service was very personal, friendly and new her food. It was delicious as could be. Recommend the fried catfish enough to share coupled with a trip to the buffet for cornbread casserole, Lima beans, collards and cornbread. Time for a nap!
