Best WLM Reviews
The beds were absolutely the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. The cable is illegal since there to cheap to pay for it. All you get is old 70s shows that are horrible. The shower was disgusting and there is no mad service. The manager has her son's help her clean and it's impossible to get clean towels. At 3:00 AM the managers son starts his car up right in front of the rooms and it's very loud! He will let it run for like 10 minutes not being mindful that guests are sleeping. Considering there are lots of other motels close by I would definitely stay away from here.
Front desk staff were very nice. Room experience, however, was not. My room was in need of repairs. The top locking mechanism on the door was missing. The bathroom vent cover was missing. When I stepped into the shower, the dirt that had accumulated on my feet washed off black. I had no maid service without specifically requesting it, which wasn't that big of a deal except I had only one very thin flimsy towel available and had to use it to mop my nasty floor. The noise level outside my room during the night was loud enough to wake me. On the second night, someone tried to get into my room, even removing the screen from my window, which I did report to the front desk. I had to go to the window and make it known to the potential intruders that there was someone in the room. They did leave at that point and there were no further problems. This was about as close to sketchy ghetto motel as I have ever experienced. Low cost should not equate to not safe, but I guess it does. I will not be choosing any Motel 6 in the near future for any reason. I will definitely be raising my standards and expectations. I guess you truly do get what you pay for.
Comfy & spacious rooms. Mine was furnished perfectly for working remotely, resting, and keep the kids busy with educational and art projects. Free TV services. Large bathroom countertop. I felt comfortable and relaxed. Lovely lobby. Gorgeous and eclectic indoor plants and aquariums. Grabbed hot and fresh coffee each morning which tasted great. Love the inn vibes- staying true to its name. Open skylines and conveniently close to a Valley Metro light rail pick up and drop off location. Skate park and tons of places to explore and dine at in all directions from the inn. Security patrols at night. Quiet. Pet-friendly. Ample parking. Friendly, approachable & professional staff. I felt welcome, at home, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, including the baked treat the front desk manager had out for guests! How sweet :-) I will be back. Thank you, Apache Inn, for the hospitality and positive experience!
This Motel 6 location wasn't clean & was very outdated. The rooms that were provided wasn't cleaned upon arrival & had lots of issues. There were what seemed to be dry blood stains on the bed spread & sheets. There wasn't any toilet paper & bars of soap along with bath towels provided inside the room upon arrival. I went to the front desk to ask for these items. The customer service at this location was polite & helpful, even with my list of complaints. They said that they weren't staffed to take care of the issues I had with the rooms, but that they gave me the items so that I could do it myself. I noticed that not all the lighting fixtures worked & that there wasn't any smoke detector inside the room, the wires were hanging from the ceiling. I only found this out, due to the main fire alarm system alarming falsely throughout the building for awhile. The walls around both doors were very dirty. There was hair inside the bathroom on the floor upon arrival as well. The Direct TV service didn't work in one of the rooms, as for also the batteries were low in the remotes. It was a quiet area, so the noise level wasn't bad. Expect for both the outdated refrigerator & microwave loud noise when in use. I requested a smoke-free room, but noticed that the room smelled as if it was a smoking room, it's probably why there wasn't a smoke detector hooked up inside the room. Overall, the staff here was friendly & helpful, but the comfort level wasn't as expected from this Motel 6 location. From the outdated decor, flat pillows, & damaged shower curtains. This location is in need of a major upgrade.
You get what you pay for!
The good- The guys at the front desk were fantastic, great customer service and friendly.
The not so good- my non smoking room smelled horrible. It was obviously a previous smoking room. All of my clothes and gym bags smelled like an ashtray after leaving, very gross. I am sure the guys would of changed my
room however being a single female traveler having a room under a light and in the front felt safer.
The floors were super dirty. When I wiped up a spill the napkin was grey/brown. I ended up cleaning the whole floor that was in need of a deep cleaning.
If the rooms get cleaned, properly cleaned, I would stay there again next visit, if not I would pay more for a clean room.
Awesome manager! A bunch of us showed up an hour before check-in time and the rooms weren't ready due to washing machine issues (totally understandable; they weren't supposed to be ready for an hour regardless). The manager let me hang out in the lobby with my dog in order that we could stay cool in the 110 degree heat. Once my room was ready, I realized he upgraded me for free.
The property was sparkling clean and included an operational hot tub and swimming pool. Be sure to book online ahead of time; this place can fill up quick. There was plenty of parking and the lot was in great shape; felt like a safe location, too.
called 5 times this morning to which i got a response once. some lady answered the phone saying “hello” and then hung up on me before i could even ask about availability. tried calling back no answer. maybe have people by the phones that are actually gonna answer them and greet the person on the phone?? she didn’t say “hello thank you for calling apache inn my name is blah blah how can i help you” like a professional front desk hotel/motel should all she said was hello and hung up on me. mediocre establishment.
I booked this hotel after seeing a 4-star review on tripadvisor, but had a horrific experience from the moment I walked in. Had reservation for the night of Oct 28th 2019.||||The alarm bells started going off the moment I stepped to the front desk. Had a weird unpleasant smell. The room was dirty, had dust on all the furniture, lamp shades had torn fabric, curtains were dirty and had dark stains. Phone - does not work. Of course. The bed advertised as a king size was essentially two twin bed boxes sandwiched together, not an actual bed frame. I tried settling in to the mattress cushion and the whole thing caved in from the middle. Totally uneven surface. Bed linen and sheets were filthy to say the least, had dark stains. It was mind boggling how they were running this place. ||||I am not a fancy type, and am a regular patron of Motel 6's. None have been as distraught of an experience as Mote 6 Tempe. I packed my bags back up and went to the front desk conveying my concerns and asked for a full refund. This was within 20 min after checkin. The front desk lady just said "Ok, I will make a note. But you need to talk to the manager for refund. He doesn't have a set schedule. Here's a card. You can try tomorrow".||||3 days later, I've still not been processed my refund. The manager is AWOL as usual, and has taken zero initiative to address my concern. Tried calling tripadvisor helpline for refund and they just passed the buck to the hotel manager. Saying their customer relations team would reach out. ||||This is hugely unacceptable. There should be a system for refunding patrons if they didn't find their rooms up to standard upon checking in within a designated time. I would like to give the hotel 0 stars. I hope the manager reads this review, makes amends & refunds my money.||||Again, I don't know if all the previous reviews are paid, or if the hotel has had a recent change of ownership. Trust me, this is no 4-star review deserving hotel.
