Best WLM Reviews
I recently had a wonderful stay at the APA Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. Its convenient location made it easy to explore the city.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed that guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always offering assistance with a warm smile. The on-site facilities, such as the restaurant and fitness center, were excellent.
All in all, it was an outstanding experience, and I would certainly stay here again. Highly recommended!
Large hotel with good clean rooms. The hotel is ideally located and has a huge parking lot. My only problem with them is they don’t give invoices for bookings done from third party sites. They also don’t give payment receipts for security deposits. This is not a good practice.
We have never had such problems with other hotels
Well-located, attractive property with lots of parking in well-lit lots, front and back of property for easy access to meeting rooms. Room was massive, well appointed, quiet, and perfect for working and rest. Cafe Metro had a stocked breakfast buffet with waffle maker and many other food and beverage choices. No room service or valet. On premises restaurant, Aoi, was great (I’ll do a separate review).
I recently stayed at APA Hotel Woodbridge NJ and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The hotel is noticeably aged and in dire need of remodeling and updates. The decor and facilities feel outdated from 1997, which detracts from the overall comfort and ambiance. There's a positivity of standard room being spacious but retracted in comfort with 1990s Japanese-influenced bathroom-sizing, which is to say air-tight.
One of the most concerning aspects was the service staff. During room cleaning, the staff were extremely vocal, chatting loudly among themselves, which was quite disruptive. This lack of professionalism was disappointing and impacted the overall experience.
Additionally, hotel facility hosted many enthusiastic tours groups. -)
Overall, the hotel feels exceedingly dated and does not meet the standards expected for a comfortable stay. I hope the management considers significant renovations and staff training to improve the guest experience.
Location is not ideal without a vehicle to access nearby restaurants.
Welcome back to 1990s.
We reserved the space for a business meeting. The staff was wonderful and totally accommodating. The food was great and timely. The audio/visual services were superb. We will definitely use this location going forward.
Very nice but worn out. The exterior of the building looks like it has not been touched since it was built idk how many years ago. The lobby and restaurants are nice and the room & beds are clean but the room needs some basic maintenance. They have bidets in the bathrooms with heated seats, but the lid was cracked, and every time the heat or blower would turn on, it smelt like raw sewage. The wooden frame of the standing mirror had a huge gouge taken out of it that u can tell they tried to fix with wood putty, but it was a completely different color. It's just little things that didn't really affect my stay per say but I just don't know if you can classify this hotel as 4 star with them. It feels a bit like false advertising. I got a pretty good deal for my room on priceline, so I'm not upset, but I would be had I of paid more. The poor receptionist was super nice and helpful but the only one on duty with a line of 4 or 5 people waiting to check in. Hotel is otherwise in a great location and super easy to hop onto the park way. Also on the plus side I was on the east side and had an amazing view of the sunrise but the other side gets an amazing view of the sun set I hear.
Where do I start? We booked adjacent rooms since my elderly father was with us and I wanted to access to him all night …when we checked in they said it was not available. Then the bar was supposed to be open until 2:00am closed at 11:00 and nothing else open. They claimed to be booked up but the hotel was like a ghost town. Our room heater was not working, the dresser had missing hardware. Went to Bogarts for dinner..the food was good but the service was not. We had to ask for everything…sharing apps ..they didn’t bring us plates, we sat around waiting to order drinks and finally had to go to the bar because our server was no where in sight. Went to bed completely unsatisfied! Would highly NOT recommend this hotel.
I booked this hotel for 5 days. I believe it was night 3 or 4 where I found a bed bug crawling in my bed at 1am. Not only did I find a bed bug but that same night my bathroom door got locked from inside somehow and I could not get back in. They switched my room, and they told me my belongings that were locked in the original bathroom would be safe and not taken. The next day I went back to the original room, and my belongings were gone. They said they couldn’t find them either. I had clothes and expensive beauty products inside. I was told I would be refunded for my entire stay due to the bed bug. That never happened. The manager was not helpful and she lied to me that she would refund me. It’s been months and I never got the money back. I have a written and signed letter from the manager (Kishana) saying that I would get my money back. They did not help over the phone and would always just ask me to call back later or say that there was no manager in that I could talk to. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. Oh! And the second room they switched me to in the middle of the night had a toilet that would not flush! Avoid this place at ALL costs! I have pictures and videos of the bed bug and my experience.
