Ive been coming to this location since 2019. The door rarely ever works to get in. If youre part of the 4am crew like me, good luck getting in half the time. Ive had referrals sign up under me and never received the free month. Ever. Theres never any cleaning wipes!! Probably the dirtiest machines bc of this alone. Every single station is out and its 5am. All the trash is full and over flowing at 5am too! And not a single wipe in sight
Other than the constant door issues this location is ideal for those looking for a small lowkey gym. Rarely super busy anytime ive come. The quality of the machines are okay but seem out dated and the same units are broken, often. Theres holes in the padding of chairs and arm rests. similar size locations have way more machines to offer but this one has the essentials. However if youre looking for quality, cleanliness and aesthetics this place is not it. If you want your $50 worth a month go to the tezel location or anywhere else. Out of all the anytimes ive been across texas to carolina, this is the dirtiest and dumpiest. For the price, Golds has more to offer at this point and is now cheaper than anytime fitness which is a considerable point as well.
Compared to my rinky-dink jobs items Gym, this place costs 3.8 times more. Some of the equipment is a downgrade as well. The pulleys only do gradations of ten pounds, which is too much for shoulder rehab. The benches are janky and not solid for grabbing onto for movements like dragon flags and side lying bent elbow shoulder flexions. You set it to flat and literally 3 reps later it is at another setting. It's an expensive brand name bench. All that jankitude costs money I suppose.
$100 a month is too much. Especially considering there are no lockers. I'd like to relax and not stay vigilant.
Also, the phone number doesn't work, and the website doesn't work. It took me a month to finally connect with this place.
The gym itself has any utility/machine you could think to use. Although i thought it was small at first, there is plenty of room to hold 50+ people. Staff is great, if you need help The manager Zinah will get you more than right.
I recently joined Alamo Ranch branch with a one-year membership. Unfortunately, after just one month, I was diagnosed with tennis elbow. My doctor provided a note advising that I should refrain from lifting weights until I am fully recovered. So I requested a cancellation of membership. However, when I presented this note to the gym, they refused to accept it because it didn't match their preferred format.
The note I provided is the standard template used by the hospital for such situations. I find it disappointing that they would not recognize an official medical document and accommodate my health needs. As a member, I expect better support and understanding, especially when it comes to health-related issues.
I hope they can review their cancellation policy and consider being more flexible with members who present legitimate medical concerns.
The establishment is quite unprofessional and lacks stability, they don’t respond to emails nor calls and do not show drive in helping out those who are customers in this gym. Had to reach out to corporate for somewhat help. If y’all could call me or email me back that would be great.????????
To the person who stole a sterling silver ring on August 20, 2024 at around 5-6 on the third treadmill, count your days.

First time back in the gym in 8 years. I have had an outstanding experience at Anytime Fitness! Ms. Dallas, the manager, was incredibly helpful during my free trial and sign-up process, and the convenience of handling everything on my phone was a big plus. The gym is clean, simple, and ideal for someone getting back into working out. The workout atmosphere is great, and the equipment is excellent. What's even better, my buddy recommended the gym, and he received a free month, which has allowed us to motivate each other. It's a win-win all around!
Had family membership for several years and enjoyed the facility. It is a great concept and in good location. Had terrible ending to relationship. Cancelled 3 of 4 family members once Covid-19 hit. Placed 4th on indefinite hold. Have email stating would contact me after 3 weeks if anything changed. Started receiving calls and email about past due bill. They started billing again without letting me know. Would not adjust it either. Received email and phone call from area manager Morgan Hubbard. Terrible attitude and completely unfriendly. Should not be manager of himself muchless an area. We had planned on going back once we felt it was safe but since he was so concerned with collecting $67 we will never go back. The cherry on top was having to go in person to club to sign contract cancellation document. I was correct in picturing people working out with no masks on as required. They have the signage up but don't bother to enforce it at all. July 2020.
