Had a really great experience here. Large group with kids and the staff were all so accommodating and kind. The food was amazing!! Especially the entrees served Anwar’s style. Easy packaging to take things to go. Fair pricing and delicious food. Also the hummus is literally the best hummus I’ve ever had in my life. So so so good. Really enjoyed it and will be back!
I’ve seen a lot of Anwar’s funny videos online and I’ve been wanting to check this spot out.
I started with their Cantaloupe juice which was pretty good. I ordered their Chicken shawarma side, Salmon plate and an Anwar style beef and shrimp over fries.
The chicken shawarma was very flavorful, a little dry but still good. The salmon was probably the best fish I’ve had in downtown LA so far, which pleasantly surprised me. That salmon was phenomenal, very tender and flavorful. The Anwar fries with beef and shrimp was descent but I think I was just super full.
The garlic sauce was my favorite dip overall and really complimented the meats/pita bread. Either way the whole dinner was excellent and I enjoyed my meal.
I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items. It’s a solid spot for Mediterranean food and I came out super satisfied.
Food is amazing every time. Food freshness is great, very quick to get the food, overall a great expedience. Get the tacos!
Everything here is amazing & full of flavor. Salads come so loaded with meat you don’t need a side dish unless maybe you are sharing. Falafels are a decent size, supper fresh & seasoned to perfection! I’m so happy they have a loyalty program now.
Ok guys and gals this the only place you should go for food????????. Legitly some of the best food in LA for the price. Also Anwar is a good guy who hires other good workers. Overall, BUSSIN!
Nice food. I found it a little bland for my liking. But it is nice to see a halal restaurant in LA.
By the way I am a fan of Anwar as a comedian. Would love to see him one day.
Wow this is the BEST hummus I've every had in my life....... great job. And the ANWAR SAUCE......... perfection...... i will be back weekly
Delicious chicken wrap with fries! However, I didn’t like taste of garlic sauce. Maybe, they could make some changes on that one. Overall, fresh food, a great atmosphere and friendly staff!
