The waitress was kind, they came to check on us regularly and were accommodating for a big group. The buffalo chicken pizza was the best I have had in a while; very delectable sauces, yummy chicken and a good crust makes it a good staple of the pizzeria. The Hawaiian pizza was lacking in ham but it was good otherwise
We had a killer slice for lunch. We returned for dinner. Stuffed shells and Pasta with oil and garlic. Everything we ate today was delicious! This place made our visit to Jim Thorpe comfortable. Thank you!
We had a great experience at Antonio’s Pizza in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, during our visit on a Tuesday night in August. Despite a thunderstorm brewing and a quieter-than-usual evening, our server Tracy managed everything wonderfully. She was doing double duty, making deliveries while serving us, yet everything was seamless.
Antonio’s offers gluten-free options, which was perfect for our son who enjoyed a large pepperoni pizza on a gluten-free crust. My wife and I shared the vegetable lovers pizza, which was decent. One thing to note is that they don’t have fountain drinks; everything is served in cans, and the beer comes in bottles. It wasn’t a big deal for us, though.
The place is quite popular. During the day, you can often see people waiting outside for their orders. We also stopped by another time just to check it out, and the back room was crowded.
Overall, we had a positive experience and would definitely visit again.
We stopped in to eat while visiting Jim Thorpe. The pizza is about as good as you can expect for a tourist area. Not great, but not bad either. It got the job done. The ladies who seated/served us dida really good job.
I judge an Italian place by the most basic thing you can order, plain cheese pizza. This is the foundation of all other pizzas you'll order. I came in and asked for a slice. Cook said it wasn't ready yet, so I had a seat. A few minutes later, a couple fresh slices were served at my table. The pizza was terrible. Super thin, completely covered in grease, the cheese was cheap, the undercarriage floppy, the sauce was flavorless. I tried to rescue it with really table seasonings. It did not help. I wouldn't order anything else from here. This was $3 per slice.
Would’ve given less than one if possible. Absolutely rude staff. Waited to be seated and then someone else went and sat first. We were told to deal with it and leave. Asked her to speak nicely was told “you can literally leave right now.”
Service industry don’t run like this. Fix your attitude .
The best kept secret in Jim Thorpe! Just a small restaurant, we almost missed it walking by. Have a nice variety of food. Pizza, Subs, Sandwiches, Salads, Burgers, Spaghetti and Wraps. Happy friendly staff and made the most delicious hugh cheeseburgers. Will be returning on future town visits.
Amazing veggie pizza and calzone pizza. We liked the quantity of food offered. Small size offering is good enough for 2 people. Also, I liked friendly people at this place. Be aware sometime google map can lead you to wrong place due to hilly terrain.
