Amazing Gluten free choices!! I came here for my birthday dinner with my family and we made sure to make a reservation for a Sunday in March and good thing because it was full! We started with gluten free calamari which was amazing and a special with buffalo sauce, also amazing!! Then for dinner my husband and I shared the gluten free chicken parm with vodka and that came with vodka gf pasta which was so saucy it was just how we liked it! Also we got a Mediterranean veggie pasta which was flavorful & the pasta consistency was really good. Then the rest of the dishes were not gf but they got steak, plain pizza, lasagna, fries, shrimp pasta and chicken. I cannot wait to go back next year for my birthday again! So happy they could make some many items gluten free without compromising on taste! Highly recommend!!
First time here and we had a great experience. We ordered the calamari, garlic bread, stuffed shells, and papardelle bolognese. Entrees include a side salad. The calamari was soooo good and tasty, but the garlic bread was a little too strong and some pieces were too soft/soggy. I would just stick with the free bread they give you which is much better. The entrees were good, big portions and well seasoned. The papardelle bolognese sauce was just a bit too runny for our liking. But overall would recommend and return!
We took my mom, who is in a wheelchair for her 91st bday here and it was OUTSTANDING! From the moment I called to make the reservation the hostess was so sweet and accommodating. She assured me we’d be seated at a table near a plug for my mom’s oxygen. When we got there they were expecting us and were ready to seat us near the plug. The waitress and bus girl were both so nice and the food was FANTASTIC! Lots to choose from and the home made pasta was DELICIOUS! Scallops and roasted artichokes were also so fresh and amazing! We’ll be repeat customers! Oh they also came out & sang happy birthday to my mom at dessert. A+ all around and not crazy prices! Ps BYOB. :) ????????????????‍♀️
This is my third time at Antonio’s and it never disappoints. I will start my review by saying, they do have a 1.5 hour limit to sit at the table, so do not be surprised when they tell you that the second you sit down. I have talked to 3 other people who have been here and thought that was immediately off putting, but the food speaks for itself and I’ve never had a problem of running out of time. My only recommendation is to stop leading with that, as it’s not welcoming.
Jonathon was our waiter on this visit and he was extremely professional and provided excellent service. You do need to place the order for appetizer and entrees at the same time, but they time the flow of dishes extremely well. We started with the rice balls, which were delicious. The mixture inside was creamy and savory. I got the penne all vodka, which is always delicious and my boyfriend got CONCHIGLIE RIPIENI which was also delicious! The focaccia bread is always warm and fresh and the salads were very a proper salad. We had a great visit and will be back!
Jonathan was our server and he was most excellent. He really couldn't have done a better job, he was perfect. My girlfriend and I came here and we loved our visit. The bread and olive oil to start was so good and so flavorful. Then the salads - it is so nice to get an actual salad with a decent serving size and tasty tomatoes and carrots. This is somehow forgotten at most other restaurants and is always such a great distinguishing touch of Antonio's. Then we shared the rice balls and they were so good! The marinara sauce is top tier too. We shared the stuffed shells and penne vodka. Both were very large portions. Stuffed shells were fantastic and the bolognese sauce was the best I had ever had. My girlfriend orders the penne vodka every single time she comes here (she is a local). Our meal and visit to Antonio's was so wonderful. We made a reservation for a Sunday evening, we recommend a reservation if you plan to sit around typical busy meal times. We will be back, thank you so much!
Here's the reason this restaurant is awesome.....We had 3 small dogs with us and after a long day, flea markets, driving around, taking the dogs out to run around we were tired, hot and hungry! We googled "Italian restaurants that have outdoor seating and allow dogs. We were in Point Pleasant at the time. Called and they said C'mon in, we would love to have you! Both Sara and our busboy were amazing! By far the best service we have received at a restaurant in a while! They seated us on the side of the building because the front was a little too sunny. Even though it was a pain to serve us outside, they never skipped a beat! We were gracious that they allowed us the courtesy of bringing our dogs!
Now the food! Amazing! I had a special of Chicken, Ricotta, Peas and Sundried Tomatoes in a cream sauce, amazing!! My friend had the Pasta Primavera, and it was soooooo good! The bread, delicious! Sara was busy inside, but she still treated us with love and loved our dogs! Our young busboy was so awesome, brought our dogs water and always asked if we were okay with everything. WE WILL BE BACK! THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THE GREAT FOOD, AND ALLOWING OUR DOGS TO DINE WITH US! WE WILL ALSO SEND BUSINESS YOUR WAY! WE LOVE YOU!
Really lovely place. Went for a wedding rehearsal and was blown away. Food was delicious, and the atmosphere is very intimate. Service was attentive and quick. The bread with the oil was delicious! We got cold antipasto, calamari, and chicken franchise. Very very tasty food! From soup to nuts this is def a recommendation!
We picked up some takeout from here last week. Incredible cheese ravioli and focaccia bread. Everything tasted so fresh. I made two meals out of it and loved how much sauce they gave to dunk the bread in.
