Best WLM Reviews

After a long day of hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park, there’s no better place to have your post trip meal than Antonio’s Pizza. This restaurant has brought the beloved New York pizza to the town of Estes Park. The garlic knots were outstanding and come with a side of ranch or marina, we of course chose both. We then had the Godfather pizza which was almost like an everything pizza but with authentic Italian toppings. If you’re looking for your next meal in this area I highly recommend!
If you are in the area, this is a must stop. This might be some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. We ordered the Detroit style pizza. It was amazing. The right amount of cheese and sauce in every bite. We also had the salad and garlic cheese bread which were also delicious. Despite the fact that you don’t have a primary waiter for your table (everyone just helps out), the service was very friendly and we were very well taken care off. I can’t wait to go back to this place!!!
New York style pizza all the way in Colorado. The boys wanted some pizza for a night in the cabin and this place came through. Starting with a margherita, I thought this was just fine. Next, the chicken and pineapple was tasty with a good amount of both ingredients. Finally, we got the mega don cheese. All three pizzas had nice crust, not a lot of flop, weren’t too oily, and a good disbursement of toppings. This wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had but it was solid and did the job.
We did a hike in Rocky Mountain NP and ordered our pizza when we got back to our car. As we pulled into the parking lot of Antonio’s, we got a text that our pizza was ready for pickup! Less than 20 minutes later!
We ordered an 18 inch Antonio’s style. It was fantastic! The extra marinara is what really set it apart from other pizza’s I’ve had. This is how all pizza should be made. Wonderful, wonderful job!!
This is the best pizza place in Estes Park. We were here at about 4:00 pm on a Wednesday and had great service. After being to so many places that complain about being understaffed, it was so nice to be in a place with plenty of pleasant helpful employees. We had a thin crust pizza and another with thick crust so everyone was happy getting their favorite. Delicious! It was a fun experience to see the pizza delivered to our table by a motorized cart (kind of like having R2D2 delivery).
Nice food, pretty busy place but large sitting space. The menu has a lot of selection.
Tried:
Wings
Garlic knots
18 inch Chicago style : white garlic
14" New York style thin: Peppadew and half pineapple
Everything was good in taste, would recommend if you want to dine in Italian cuisine especially pizza.
We slipped in early on a Tuesday during the shoulder season (10/22 4 pm) and were able to dine in. Ordered two small side salads, meatball appetizer, a Grandma’s pizza, and a Godfather calzone. The salads were larger than expected and had a nice amount of veg-cherry tomato’s, red and green bell peppers, plus croutons. The meatball appetizer was fantastic! We opted to add mozzarella on top which wasn’t needed, would skip that in the future. The meatballs and the sauce were both nicely spiced and delicious. The grandma pizza is simplicity at its finest- sauce, cheese and basil on a thicker but light crust. Hubs really liked the Godfather calzone, but not something I’d order myself, a lot of prosciutto and salami. We’ve been ordering Sicilian pizza to go to avoid the crowds here in season. Will definitely continue to dine in and order to go.
Note: We’ve been intermittent guests over the years. Fond memories of the original location. Post Covid, there was a dine-in visit that left me frustrated with the friction to get a real person to help (only QR code ordering at the table.) Was very pleasantly surprised today to see they’ve continued to invest in automation (robot delivery of food) but also have real-people readily available to help if that is preferred.
Glad to have this gem in Estes.
First, the good: the pizza is FANTASTIC. Great sauce (can make or break pizza for me), great ingredients, and quite frankly absolutely perfect crust.
I really, really want to give them five stars just for the pizza alone.
But the service is just too bad.
The staff are unfriendly and dour. Not a single smile, no pleasantries, and borderline grim. Mind you: they are working hard. But they sure don’t contribute to an atmosphere that is enjoyable.
The host seats you at your table where you have to use a QR code to order your food on your phone. Ugh. There’s a table number in a holder, one side is green the other red. The host mumbled what it was about and no one at our table understood what he said. (We found out later you show the red number if you need something). It takes a while to navigate the menu. When you order pizza I cant tell how to get half of something on one side and half on another.
They charge $0.25 for a glass of water. And $0.25 for ice…
Their specials menu at the front says they have cannolis… but it isn’t on the web menu.
You pay in the app before your order is placed. Which means you tip before being served.
A robot brings out your food.
The only time we saw anyone was when someone brought us our drinks.
Lastly: parking is a serious challenge.
I’d absolutely order pizza to go, but I doubt I’d eat in again.
