What's left of my 2 beef enchilada plate. The salsa was good. I would prefer my salsa spicy hot. Sat at the bar to watch the football game.
The ???? Margaritas were on point! I am finding most Mexican restaurants use the same cheese sauce instead of actual queso. Other than that the food was really good. Our server was good, kid friendly. Lots of parking but it is a busy shopping center.
Antonio's is a great place to go eat. While there isn't a lot of room for parking, the restaurant is big and has a ton of seating!! The food came out fast, and everything was great! We went during the week before 3, and chose from their lunch specials. To be able to eat for under $10 a person these days is amazing!
The employees meet you quickly to be seated and they bring chips and drinks quickly. When you order, your food is never more than 5-10 minutes before they bring it to table. Super clean and prices are ridiculously low! We love this place!
We recently visited here while on an excursion away from the Dfw metroplex. We all were craving Mexican food and nothing else ! This place came into view on our online search and it couldn’t have been any better timing ! The food was awesome! Big portions and good Tex-mex flavor ! The salsa was great tasting ! And the margaritas very nice flavor also ! Our party was very happy with this find ! We can’t wait to go back even if it is 90 min away !
I honestly have no idea how they have such high ratings, their food was horrible both times I tried it. My mom got us to go plates and the enchiladas were the worst I've had in my life so they agreed to give us half off if we gave them another try. The second time we went to the restaurant and it was no better. I definitely will not be back. I eat Mexican food ALL the time and never have I had such a horrible experience. Huge disappointment!!!!
I was looking for a good Mexican breakfast spot. One of my favorite places was over an hour away so I was willing to try and find something closer. I'm glad I stumbled upon this place! I got the huevos rancheros and my wife ordered the enchiladas. The food was piping hot and on point. The salsa was fresh with not too much spice. The Chile con queso was creamy, smooth and delicious, with a generous portion for the price. I highly recommend giving this place a go if you're looking for some amazing food.
I’ve in the area for 3 years. I keep seeing this restaurant pop up when we look for new restaurants to try near us. Tonight we decided to go. They sat us down and it wasn’t too busy, music is very low so it’s great to make conversation. When you are seated, they bring chips and salsa and your drinks quickly. The chips are great, not overly salty and don’t brake off. Salsa on the other hand…..let’s just say that pace has better flavor and that’s unfortunate to experience at a restaurant.
The staff are extremely friendly and so, so helpful from the time you walk in, to the time you walk out to pay up at the front. Anyway, back to the food. Our orders came to our table and my fiancé got the chimichanga which looked delicious! He said it was great also. Kids ordered chicken tenders and fries which are just the frozen kind you’d expect to find but they’re toddlers and ate them.
The reason for the three stars is for my food. I paid $16 for a plate of food and I could only eat half. It was bland. The plate I ordered was Steak Guisado and there’s no way the salsa they used is made fresh in restaurant. Just tasted like they poured the salsa they bring with the chips and salsa and sautéed some veggies and called it a day. The meat…. I could just imagine what Gordon Ramsay would think just by looking at it. Paper thin and it took me forever to chew. It was hard to bite despite the fact that it was paper thin. It’s as if they scraped it off the walls of a deep freezer. I didn’t dare eat the veggies after one bite. Beans and rice are bland but went the worst.
This is a place you come to order either a chimichanga or nachos, but not anything else.
