There were 4 of us who went for dinner, and we will be going back. Our server, Devon, was very attentive, always checking in to make sure everything was as we expected. She was also very courteous and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The food is very authentic, with many items coming directly from Italy. Extremely well prepared with great flavor. You won't be disappointed!
Amazing Italian food ! Delicious. Quaint and quiet yet full of families. Rustic grounds with 5 star dining. Truly a masterpiece of combining American country and the delectable creations of Italy. They also look like a great wedding venue!
We were looking for somewhere to eat on our way back to KY. While googling my wife stumbled upon this little gem. Just a small place with delicious food and great service. Apparently this place operates mainly on reservations but we're able to get us in fortunately. Authentic Italian food that you can't find a whole lot of places in the us.
We live locally and have bragged about Antonio's to our family and friends. We finally got to take my brother and sister-in-law. Imagine how disappointed and embarrassed we were by the microwave dinner quality of the food. While our server was very nice, she was apparently being run ragged by the new owners and their large party of friends that were very particular and demanding. Service took much longer than we had ever experienced in our many prior visits. This restaurant's service and food quality are suffering dramatically under the new ownership. My chicken parmigiana consisted of 3 chicken tenders in subpar marinara sauce....chicken tenders???? Seriously??? I doubt we will be back, and if we do, I won't bring anyone until I see if they have tightened up on the quality, which I seriously doubt given the other recent reviews.
Ordered the special - cedar key clams over linguini. Absolutely delicious! I rarely can finish my meal in one sitting, especially a dish this large, but I made it my mission to eat all of it because it was so good!!! Had the burrata for an app, also very good. My boyfriend had the chicken parm and absolutely loved it as well. Super cute little restaurant inside; not loud and boisterous, with limited seating, but really adds to the atmosphere. Great place for date night. And for the quality of food, you can’t beat the price. If you like Italian, or if you’re like me and it’s not your favorite kind of food….give it a try anyway, you won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait to go again. 10/10!
My husband and I stopped in on a whim, for the first time. It was a Friday night and we lucked out - got the only unreserved table. The food and service were excellent! The setting is intimate and perfect for a date night or special occasion.
A life changing experience and I’m not saying that dramatically. I never knew burrata could taste like that. Lobster ravioli and the pesto gnocchi was like eating a succulent little cloud. Go there if you love food and want to be in heaven????
We have lived in Gainesville for a long time but never ventured out to Antonio’s! We went to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing- service was great and we celebrated with Canoli! We highly recommend!
