Best WLM Reviews
As a family we were going through a pretty rough time and the moment we walked in the door they treated us with kid gloves. It was like they were our family too. The service was incredible and if the food had been just okay that alone would have been worth it. Thankfully the food is hands down the best authentic Italian food we have had in years. Be prepared for portion sizes that will require a takeout box. I can tell you that the food was still delicious hours later when we finished it.
We found this wonderful little place on Google and thank goodness we did. Our reservation was at 6:45 and they sat us at 6:20 when we arrived. Service was incredible and the food was amazing. I got the Ziti Carbonara (10/10 dish!!!) and the other in my party got the Chicken Parmigiana which was also delicious. The portions are large, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Again, the service was perfect. We each had a drink, shared an app (fried mozzarella- perfectly cooked), and had our entrees all within an hour. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!
Antonio’s was an amazing stop on our Boston food tour. We went in on a whim and stayed for the service, hospitality and food. Evelyn, Ralph and the rest of the staff were welcoming and helpful.
If the arancini are available, get them. The bolognese with house made fusilli noddles was also incredible. The food was so good we went back the next day for more wine, appetizers and to speak with the staff again. We went in as strangers and left as friends.
Please don’t miss this gem if you’re in the Beacon Hill part of Boston.
I stopped by the restaurant and had mixed feelings about my experience. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was attentive, but the food was hit-or-miss. I ordered the ravioli al forno , which was nicely presented, but unfortunately, it was filled with ricotta cheese. I think veal ravioli would be a better choice - the dish already has a rich, cheesy sauce, so the additional ricotta made it feel overly cheesy.
That being said, the portion size was generous, and the prices were reasonable. With a few tweaks to the menu, I'd definitely consider returning. Until then, I'd recommend Antonio's to fans of rich pasta dishes, but not necessarily to those looking for balance.
Would I return? Yes. Would I recommend? Yes
Antonio's Cucina Italiano: Cozy Ambiance with a Mixed Dining Experience
Antonio's Cucina Italiano in Beacon Hill exudes a dark and cozy charm, creating an intimate atmosphere perfect for a quiet evening. The dim lighting adds to the ambiance, making it a suitable spot for a relaxed dining experience.
While the food was okay, it didn't quite hit the mark of greatness. The menu had its highlights, but the overall culinary journey left me with mixed feelings.
On a positive note, the servers were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience.
While Antonio's may not become my regular haunt, I wouldn't be opposed to revisiting once in a while, perhaps for the inviting ambiance and the occasional craving for their fare.
We were looking for good Italian food and stumbled upon Antonio’s—what a delight! The friendly service and extraordinary food made our night. My husband loved the lobster ravioli, I had the eggplant parmigiana, and our daughter enjoyed her shrimp cocktail.
The quaint atmosphere was perfect for a late-night meal. We were thrilled with our experience and can’t wait to return on our next trip to Boston!
Wonderful experience! Great service and the best stuffed mushrooms and chicken piccata I have ever had. Definitely recommend. It's a small/cozy space. Make a reservation.
Beautifully charming restaurant and the food was perfection! I had a dirty martini ( best In Awhile) and pesto ziti with a side of meatballs everything was great. You can tell they know their Italian food
