Had lunch there today and it was an almost complete debacle from start to finish. Two items we ordered weren’t put in and we never received them, same thing happened to the table next to us. One of our beers was comped. Bussers seemed like they had zero clue what they were doing, table next to us was basically a pile of trash and dishes for most of our visit. The one saving grace was that our waitress was very nice and apologetic for all of the issues. Oh yea and half the food was cold. If I had to sum up the visit in a word - chaos.
It was my third visit to Antonia's since visiting family in the area several times since January, 2024. Each time I have found it to be clean, with good service and good food. Some things are better than others, as is the case anywhere, but i have generally been happy with my orders. They do have quite a large menu selection, mostly Greek, Italian, and American plates. The portions are generous, and i have found the kitchen is accommodating to special requests. I would say the prices are as expected for this type of everyday, solid restaurant.
Stayed at a hotel down the street so it was within walking distance which was fabulous. Food was tasty and staff were down to earth and kind. However I feel as thou a permanent hostess is needed or perhaps more staff as I noticed they all did hostess, waitresses and bussing. The ladies did very well for doing so much! The food was a little slow and sweet fries are a little over cooked but beyond that it was a wonderful place to get a good meal
This was my first visit there, I ordered a burger and sweet potato fries to go. It was not cheap. My order came to almost $30 (I bought dessert as well which was okay). I got home to find the bun and the fries were burnt. The bun was burnt black. The burger itself was good, but unfortunately based on this I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
Chicken Parm was good. Store offers outdoor seating and is pet-friendly.
Food was wonderful other than their grilled cheese which wasn't the greatest, but the server we had was horrible. We ordered. She forgot our drinks, had to come back twice and asked what kind of drinks we ordered before we got them, our food came which came with a side that we never ended up getting, she said they made the salad and she could remember who it went to. she was apologizing to everyone next to us she was serving and there wasn't that many people around us. I understand people have bad days but that was a little rough.
So much good food! Staff was overwhelmed for a Thursday long-time lunch run, but the kitchen did great. Food looked and tastes great and the price was right. After that delicious meatball I could only eat half of my chicken parm sandwich, but it reheated well.
