Best WLM Reviews
Very community oriented diner. Great customer service even down to the straws...very conscientious servers. Nice atmosphere and environment. Provides different places to sit. Very unique menu with food choices interesting enough to try. The Penicillin soup....Enjoyed the chilli nice proportion served. Beautiful side salad. The chicken with pasta not so appealing. That was just to much of pasta. Need additional fixing up....overall lovely place..
The food was fantastic and our service was decent. My only complaints is that some areas of the restaurant were very cold and when we requested a rable not in the bar our greeter was kind of rude.
I haven't been here in years. I use to live in walking distance so naturally would eat there regularly. It's just as good as it was years ago! Ordered the wings with a Cajun ranch dry rub (get blue cheese to make it even better)! Country friend steak was delicious nice portion. Chicken pot pie was flaky, crusty, and everything a pot pie should be. Service was great, waitress was super fast! All in all great meal, this is a place you definitely won't leave hungry
We finally stopped by here this past weekend. It was bacon week. The food was excellent. I had mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat and the Jambalaya. The Jambalaya was really good, and the portion was huge. She had Texas fries and french onion soup, which she really enjoyed. Many beer choices and drink choices.
Overall it was great atmosphere great food. The only issue was that our waitress didn't come around much. I'm not sure if they were short-handed or if it was something else. It wasn't busy at all when we were there. She never came over to ask how everything was. Even though that happened, it's a nice place with really good food.
We went for the Sunday BBQ and brought a large group. That normally throws a wrench in any service and we were prepared. They sat our party and took our drink orders. Separate checks are always hit and miss with large groups but they had no issue giving us separate checks. I have to say that when restaurants are open to that it makes large family dinners easier and they get extra points for going the extra mile on that one. Our server was incredibly good natured and nothing tripped her up. We all ordered BBq. Im pretty sure we had everything on the BBQ menu. The plates looked great, very appealing. The first issue was the plate auction when the food came out. It's really difficult when the server is standing there saying OK. Who got the " ribs, chicken and brisket?" 4 people say me. They put the plate down and then it's, "nope. I had mac and cheese this has corn bread and the passing around starts. The food for the most part was delicious. The sides for the most part were good, but cold. I dont think even half of us had warm sides. They were tasty, but cold. No one complained, but it detracted. The portions were good, the look was good, the taste was delicious. Very good all around. Our only issues were cold sides and the food auction when they came to the table. Its not easy for a kitchen to handle 15 orders and get it all perfect, they were damn close. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful inside. Delicious food options that are large enough to share.
Outside does not reflect pretty inside. Has 3 seating areas. Large tvs with games on. A fireplace and natural light.
11/22/24 - Just had the chili, it was excellent! We shared the meatloaf dinner, it was awesome also! Great job everyone!!!
2023 - Awesome bartender and great food. I highly recommend visiting!!
Luckily we went here on wing night. $1 per smoked wing was well worth it. The Heart attack burger may quite possibly bring on a heart attack. Grilled cheese with a burger in the middle, and some nice size fries on the side. The Honey Mustard Pretzel Chicken Salad was good. Not quite amazing but good. The beer is what stole the show here. Fresh, filled with flavor and served ice cold. The variety of beer was a nice surprise too. No matter who you are, you are bound to find a flavor that you’ll enjoy. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were all very attentive, upbeat and energetic.
