I went to Anthony Vince's Nail Spa to get gels, Sat 11/2/24 around 11 am. I got this guy who was totally rude in so many ways. No greeting, no kindness, no nothing. He was an older gentleman. I told him I wanted gels, he tried to talk to me about doing an acrylic set, but I said no, however he continue over and over again trying to get me to spend more money. Finally I said no I'm only spending a certain amount, but that didn't make difference. I must say he wasn't friendly with selling his services either. In the middle of me getting nails done he received a phone call and explained to someone how to get to his home so they could pick up his 2 kids, once he got person to his house he then called his kids and told them to get ready because someone was picking them up. In the middle of doing my gels and cutting my nail crooked he get an another customer and put me with someone else. I have never had service like this before and would never recommend anyone to go here. It's a beautiful place and could probably be amazing with the right people.
Octavia was amazing! I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday morning and they got me in right away. The place is very clean and all the staff are super friendly. Octavia took her time with my nails and checked in with me multiple times about the length, style, and color. I appreciated the attention to detail. I had anticipated paying a premium price as it seemed like it was a luxury salon, but even after payment and tip (fyi, they only accept cash tips!) it was still less than what I have paid at nail salons in the mall in the past.
Do yourself a favor and don’t come here lol I walked in and asked for an acrylic removal and nail repair (literally listed on their menu at this location as a $10 Acrylic Removal and $5 Nail Repair). They asked why I wanted them off (because I only needed them for vacation and can’t wear them at work, not sure why they needed to know that). Then they asked me what I was talking about with a nail repair, like several people asked me. I said I want my nails repairs after the acrylic removal, like it’s literally on your menu lol they acted like I was stupid for asking. I should have left after that, but stayed against my better judgement. They soaked my acrylics for about ten minutes, filed them down, but THEN took a lose acrylic nail and used it to PRY the acrylics off that I had on. It was painful and broke several of my natural nails. I have never ever ever ever had a salon remove nails so aggressively. My nails look awful. They didn’t even file the tops of my nails to shape them. What? ???? Then they charged me $20 which I don’t understand since it says acrylic Removal is $10 and Nail Repair is $5. They didn’t even do nail repair. Shouldn’t have been more than $10, $15 tops. This place is a joke. You’ve been warned. Good lord I could have down a better job at home with pliers. ????
This is one of my favorite salons to go to! I have been a repeat customer since August and refer many people to this salon. Octavia is beyond diligent with details and making sure my nails are what I ask for! She takes my sister and I back to back every 2 weeks and makes us feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. The atmosphere is very welcoming and all the technicians are so friendly!
I always book my appointments with Octavia and im NEVER disappointed. she does amazing every time and i have been coming to her consistently for about 2 years now. She has been able to do every design I have wanted perfectly and I highly recommend!!
If I could give this location ZERO STARS, I would. My two daughters and I went to this location on Sunday 7/14/24 and had manicures and pedicures done. We had these done for my oldest daughter so she would have her nails done for her secret proposal that she didn’t know was happening on Saturday 7/20/24. After 2-3 days, my dip nail polish started stress cracking on 5-6 of my nails. My oldest daughter’s nails, started lifting and started peeling off 3-4 days after which happened to be on her ring finger. I called today Sunday 7/21/24 to let them know what was happening to our nails and was told they only warranty their services/products for 5 days no matter what type of product you get. You pay for the expensive product that’s suppose to last up to 2-3 weeks which doesn’t matter. 5 DAYS ONLY. And then they HUNG UP ON ME. I called back, spoke with the manager in hopes to receive some sort of compensation and nope! The manager started lecturing me about how warranties work in this country. Telling me about car tires and such. What a complete joke. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NEVER WALK THROUGH THE DOOR unless you only want your nails to last 2 days! The WORST customer service around. STAY AWAY and go someplace reputable. This place is not!
Had and appointment with my friend and little sister, went in and wanted short almond shape with a green cat eye. He’s filing my nails down and I asked if he could round them out a little bit. He told me that they wouldn’t be almond anymore, and I thought “ok maybe the rest will look better” as he’s putting the acrylic on I just genuinely dislike them a lot. He filed my thumb nail so much inward that you can see my natural nail, and almost all the fingers have somewhat of a different shape. Very disappointed
I Loved Their Service! They have a beautiful scenery, with adult beverages you can get while being serviced. Well skilled Nail Technicians and well rounded pricing!
I Give My Overall Experience a 10/10! Becoming a returning client, I made my next appointment!
