My experience appears to be very different than most. My nail tech could not do the simple flower design I asked her about which would have been fine, I could have waited for someone else. But no, she said she could and proceeded to put a SpongeBob flower dead center of my nail. I told her maybe I’ll just pick a different design and showed her a ribbon type swirl design ( very basic). She said she could do it. She couldn’t. She also kept trying to push her terrible flower on me, for $30 extra none less. When I said no again, she went and got her manager. I was so embarrassed, repeatedly saying I don’t want the flower until I broke into tears. She attempted this design 3 times until I finally said no more. The nails themselves are choppy and chipped. This is the for my daughter’s wedding tomorrow. The Polish itself is so bumpy and bubbly. I am mad at myself for not getting her name to shared here. This is def an at your own risk place. I wouldn’t book if you have something important coming up.
I had a very good experience at Anthony Vince in Columbus! The salon is cute, professional, and the staff is welcoming. I highly recommend asking for Kevin—his attention to detail is what I was looking for. Also, try their TAP polish for longer-lasting results; it’s worth it! I appreciate their satisfaction policy, which guarantees a free redo within a week if you’re not happy. They truly prioritize customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be back!
I was a walk in on a very busy Sunday and they still got me in fast! Tim did my nails and they are absolutely gorgeous. I got dip with french tips and jewels. I am in love and am going back for my pedicure soon!
The end result was very nice, although this isn’t the place to come if you are new to getting your nails done. I called ahead to schedule a group of 4 the day before my wedding, and the process was easy and the staff friendly. Once we were seated, it was comfortable and pleasant. However, it was incredibly crowded when we arrived and I picked a color quickly. I didn’t like how it turned out on my toes and asked for a different color for my fingernails. The technician picked it for me, and I wasn’t thrilled about someone else picking the color for my wedding nails. Fortunately, the color turned out great! I hardly ever get my nails done, and the technician was very impatient with me for not automatically knowing the routine of when to give her my hand/put it in the bowl, etc. Although the final result looked pretty and professional for the next couple of weeks, when I removed the polish, I had a half circle ridge on my nails and everything above the ridge was brittle and breaking for weeks afterward. My nails looked very nice for the wedding, but I have no desire to repeat the experience.
This was my first time in. I had Hannah and she was excellent. Listened to what I wanted. The price is fair and very reasonable. I will definitely be back
I’ve had my nails done here a couple of times. The lady I go to is fantastic. Recently, I had an issue with the gel she applied over the dip chipping off at the tips so they offered to fix those for me as I’m hoping I will be getting engaged soon. The lady that reached out was awesome and so kind about the situation. I go in and the lady they assigned to fixed my nails was awful. She barely talked to me. Grabbed my hands to look at them and walked away without indicating that I was supposed to follow her. She used a buffer to get the gel off and made a couple of my fingers BLEED. She was so rough and it’s honestly really upset me because yes my nails look good now but my actual fingers are rough looking. Really disappointed in this experience :(
my nails have never looked more perfect. kevin did gelx nails for me and he had a crowd of coworkers watching because they were so impressed with how good and quick he was at doing them. i will certainly be back to have him do my nails again!
I went to Anthony Vince in Upper Arlington and had a great experience. The service was great and they were quick as well. My powder gel looks very nice and I would definitely recommend.
