Best WLM Reviews
Payed over $50 for a pedicure and left with sharp nails, bumps under my polish, cuts on my toes, and a sloppy look.
I’ve visited and paid for a dip service about 15 times and always used the same nail tech and scheduled an appointment with him. I get a manicure every other visit. The first few times my nails looked great and lasted. For the past 4 visits, I’ve noticed my dip powder cracks anywhere from 1-3 days after my service. This time I’ve got several nails cracked. I called today to ask for a refund. I’m done paying for poor products and a service that doesn’t last. The owner answered the phone. I explained my issue and kindly asked for a refund. She told me I could come in to get them fixed at no charge. I explained to her that using the same product would not make a difference as this had been a reoccurring problem. Why replace a bad product with a bad product? And more time out of my day to get them re-done was not settling nor an option anymore. She was very defensive and would not stop talking. I could not get in a word. She wasn’t listening. I’ve seen her speaking to others as well. On a previous visit while I was waiting, two women came in to show off their broken nails. They too, asked for a refund and stated that the quality had gone downhill. She never apologized. She runs over people with her words and will not stop to listen or let others speak. I can’t recommend this place. I feel I got ripped off not just this time but several times. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. When I called today, I was hopeful that a consistent customer like myself would’ve received a better outcome. I wanted a refund. Not a redo. $55 down the drain from this past visit. I’d like to be appreciated and valued. You won’t find it here. Photos are taken and sent on a Tuesday. I had these nails done this past Friday afternoon. 4 days. Pitiful.
Was charged for a pedicure I did not receive. I Actually got a fill-in on my nails and a toe polish change which would have been $56 but was charged $82 for the service. This happened to me twice. When I approached the owner about it, she accused me of just making up the story and said I had to have had a pedicure or they wouldn’t have charged me for it. I was told no one could make that mistake twice. Well duh you did.(or maybe it wasn’t a mistake and something you do all the time). Are you kidding? Why would I lie about getting a pedicure. I had gone to that salon since the very first time it opened and had never complained to them about anything even though I’ve had at times really rude service from their employees. Also, she could have looked on the sheet that you sign in on for that day and saw that I had asked for a fill-in and a toe polish change Would have been a simple problem to have figured out, but her and her husband made such a big deal about it and continued to make me out to be a liar. Totally treated with disrespect and I did not appreciate it in the least. I will definitely never go back.
Also, I saw a review on here where a girl got a fill-in and a pedicure and was charged $100. So it tells me that more than likely it was not a mistake but something that they have done to me and probably many others. So many other people on the reviews have talked about being treated with disrespect and how rude some of the employees are. (And I will throw in that a few of the girls are nice and respectful but you never know who you are going to get).
So all I can say is take a chance on what you get and check your bill before you leave !!!
Great experience with a pedicure today. My daughter and I came together and we had a such a special time.
I got a powder dip here. The tech was friendly. However it chipped the very next day. I returned to the salon and the manager told me he “can’t know what you do when you leave the salon” and said he didn’t have time to fix it and to come back later.
At a good salon I can get 3+ weeks from a powder dip and after 2 weeks this one is completely chipped and i need a new manicure from scratch. Will not be returning.
I started coming to NoNo about 6 months ago, she is so talented and professional, I typically tip 30-40% for her services. She is worth it! On the other hand the ownership of this salon is rude, pretentious and because of this NoNo lost a client yesterday. I came in for a third time to see if they could fix two of my nails that broke and every time they dismissed as if I was trying to get something for free, I let it roll off my back the first two times, but the 3rd, I kindly stood up for myself. They then tried to rush me back where the wife (husband and wife own the business) proceeded to tell me how nobody wants to miss out on a full service to stop and fix my nails…for thirty min she repeated this to me like I was deaf and didn’t her the first time. Which each time I said ma’am I understand what you are saying but I’ve told you ten times I will pay for the service and tip….but she continued on anyway. I laid 25 in cash on her station when we were done and she said “no I don’t want it”, after a 30 min guilt trip about how much of a pain in the ass it was for them to repair two nails (when I just spent $130 + tip on a full set and pedicure the week before mind you). And I replied “I had a service done and I’m going to pay you for it.” Her reply “ if you leave money, don’t come back to NoNo anymore”. At this point I told her she didn’t have to worry about me coming back ever again. I left, she followed me outside and THREW the money at me.
In 15 years of me managing a business…I would never treat anyone this way…I don’t care who they are, where they come from, what they look like, you get the point. I will never give another dime to this business and out of the 650 clients we see weekly,at the hair salon four businesses down from them..:we (all 15 stylists) will never send another client of ours down there. It’s sad to think that they prob treat people like that all the time that don’t have the courage to respectfully stand up for themselves. They caught the right one this time…she proceeded to walk that money down to the salon that I run, where I met her at the front door, walked her out front out of ear shot of our clients inside. At this point the cool calm and collected version of myself had left the building and I full blown verbally let her have it. She had no rebuttal at this point and walked back to her shop with her tail between her legs. Bad business…smh…
Very nice nail salon. Tracy does great eyebrows. Prices aren't too pricey. Love the atmosphere.
Update: so I finally got my nails
Done here and my experience was great. I love the soothing music and calm atmosphere. The entire staff was welcoming and polite, it didn’t take long to get in on a busy day and my nails wee done in a timely manner. I got a fill acrylic set at $32. They have a huge selection of O.P.I. Shades and well as Gel colors. There is a waterfall wall back where you wash your hands that’s just beautiful. And then have a keurig!! The experience, and quality far exceeds the price!
I absolutely love getting my nails done here. Me and my mom are regulars and love our nail techs!! Definitely suggest going here. Great prices as well.
