I’ve been going to Catty to get my nails for over a year now at Anthony Vince, and she never disappoints! From the moment I walk in, she is always welcoming and professional, making me feel at ease. Her attention to detail is incredible, and she consistently delivers exactly what I want. No matter the design, color or style I ask for, Catty goes above and beyond to bring my vision to life. Her commitment to ensuring the best experience possible shines through every time, and I always leave more than satisfied. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a nail technician who combines skill, creativity, and a great atmosphere!
I was looking forward so much to getting my nails done here! The place looked so clean and bougie compared to a few other salons I have gone to so I had high expectations about the quality. I have always been wary and not fond of getting my nails done at popular public places because I have been overcharged every time. I did know there would be a higher price for the niceness overall of the business, however I did not think my gel manicure would be 60$ because the cat eye polish is an extra 15 added to the original 45 for a simple gel look.
Chi was very sweet in helping me get the right color and I enjoyed her smiles and happy attitude to be my tech for the day. I am very thankful for a nice nail tech!! I was a little surprised however when she went straight on with the gel color and no base coat since I know from doing nails at home that the base coat ensures a long lasting manicure. She might have forgotten but I did not say anything in case the polish was special and didn’t need a base coat… Unfortunately it did have an effect because now only two days later, half of my index had already lifted and peeled off from only light dishes and not much manual labor yet. I am disappointed because I paid 60$ for these and I wanted them to last at least 2 weeks because I have 2 Christmas concerts this coming week and one the next Tuesday, which was why I decided to get my nails done instead of doing them myself. I wanted to like this place because I have been on the search for a good priced quality nail salon but this is a disappointment for me!
The 60$ was not worth it for me only to have to most likely have to redo my nails myself before all my concerts. I would ask for a refund or an appointment to fix what should have been a long lasting manicure if possible!
I got a full set for an upcoming wedding and let me tell you, I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I almost never get my nails done and I let the manicurist (Alina) know, and turns out she used this information to basically swindle me. She overcharged me for various things and me, not knowing what is fair price, paid. I later spoke to my friend who was with me but not seated with me, and she said that she wasn’t uncharged for some of the things my lady upcharged me for. The worst thing was that she was VERY rough with me. She nicked my skin multiple times (pictured), and filed my skin with her electric file to the point where it felt like burning. Additionally, she filed aggressively on the side of my nails (where my nail bed is) to the point they were raw (pictured). Two days later, my fingers are still really irritated and painful. Because she was really rough, I could not relax and she repeatedly got annoyed and upset I couldn’t relax my hands, but I was in so much pain. I like the nails, they’re pretty. They’re not exactly what I wanted but that’s alright. Just overall, I would rather no nails than all this pain.
Made an appointment for a gel manicure with my sister. Both nail techs felt like they were rushing through our entire service. My lady wasn’t even looking at my nails as she filed them, and clipped my thumbs square when the rest of my nails are round. None of my nails are painted to the cuticle and look a week grown out even though they were just done. Worst part is I wanted a design on one nail and she rushed through it so badly. It’s an supposed to be an eye, half the lashes are inside the eye, the white is overlapping multiple parts of the outline, none of the black even looks black, and all the lines are different shapes and sizes. Plus my sisters nails were filed crooked and not painted to the cuticle even though she was with someone else. Overall the experience felt like they just wanted to get us in and out and get to the next, no care was taken and it was not worth $55. Will not be back unfortunately.
I went in for two pedicures and a full. The ladies that did my pedicures did an amazing job. However when I went and did the fill I asked for a specific design and got something completely different. She gave no indication that she was unable to do the design and told me she could do it. The only change i asked for was for the base color to be different. The nail tech then proceeded to take extreme liberties with the design without asking me or running it by me. The quality was extremely poor. My nail lengths are uneven, including with the thickness of them, and the design and nail polish application were also not at par. I was even nicked when she was using the drill bit on my nails and got a cut on my finger. I got charged $105 for poor quality and a design I didn’t ask for. When I asked them for a refund they refused and said that they could only redo them. But why would I want to redo them here when the quality was as bad as it was?
This place used to be good but over the last year they’ve gone way down hill. Got a manicure here tonight and it was rushed and it looks horrible. Didn’t do my cuticles, didn’t paint the whole nail and got paint outside of the nail bed. They didn’t shape my nails either or make them even. Horrible experience. Save your money. Go somewhere else.
If I could give negative stars I would.
Took my 14yo niece in for removal of her first ever acrylics and to get a regular manicure. Alina did not soak off the acrylic, as we requested upon our arrival, and instead used another acrylic nail to pop off the old ones. Ripping her nails and causing her pain. She told her it hurt and Alina barked back saying it was her fault they hurt cause she wouldn’t sit still. She couldn’t sit still because she was basically having her nails ripped off of her. Her nails beds are destroyed. She was basically in tears and afraid to speak up at this point. Once I was done with my pedicure I saw the shoddy work Alina did and listened to the horrific story of what happened to my niece. Upon check out I was charged for a “soak off of acrylic nails” which was never done. Lu the “manager” came over and blamed a 14 yo for not speaking up and telling Alina what she was doing was wrong. I told him she is a child and his response was to double down and blame a 14 yo anyway. Lu then claimed that her nails looked this bad because “after you get acrylics taken off it’s normal to have a bad looking manicure”. Her nails have 2 very thin coats of white polish and you can see the missing polish and the destroyed nail beds left from ripping acrylics off. I would never trust this place after what happened with my niece and how they removed her acrylics is completely inappropriate and has been reported to the licensing board. They are not even licensed with the state at any of their locations. If this is how they treat customers and do nails then I can only imagine the other atrocities they commit with other unsuspecting people. Beware.
I have been to this location in the past and always requested a certain individual that was great. Unfortunately, she changed locations. I decided to take a risk and book an appointment without requesting anyone. It was a terrible mistake!!! I requested a manicure with dip. He didn't give me a manicure and when I asked about it, he said he didn't do manicures??? He proceeded to fly through the appointment, doing a terrible job. The worst part is that he filed down my nails so far that they are bright red and hurting and they are uneven on the sides. I came in with medium length nails and told him not to take any length off. They just look and feel terrible!! I am embarrassed to show anyone and am flying out for an event tomorrow. I wish I could go back in time and never booked an appointment here. I will never come back. I am sooooo bummed:(
