Today Friday 9/13/24 at 5pm I picked-up an order that included a large hawaiian pizza. However, the entire bottom was burnt and the products on top, meat, fruit and ham was also burnt. I'm attaching 3 pictures of the extremely unacceptable pizza...
Additionally, what is going on with our beloved Anthony's Pizza restaurant. Is there new owners? We noticed that the pizza boxes advertise
"Pizza By The Sea, Best Pizza On 30A! South Florida
Horrible service from Gina C.
Never got a refill. Never checked on.
Piss pour attitude.
I had to flag her down just to get my check. I asked for to go drinks. She didn't bring them back with my change. I had to flag her down again.
Me an my family will never return when she's on shift.
Food was good. Garlic knots had a lil to much garlic burned every bite.
Normally really enjoy Anthony's pizza but this experience was horrible. I didn't even want to leave a tip but I figured it's Christmas so 2$ for her is more then enough. An I normally trip 25% an more anywhere we go out.
So Gina C must stand for Gina Cun_ haha Ill keep it PG but I'm sure you can fill in the blank.
MERRY CHRISTMAS ???? to the rest of the staff y'all seemed to do your job to a .T.had to barrow that from Mrs C. Lol please teach Mrs. C to be a better server.
When I first moved to DeLand this pizza place was really good. Unfortunately, over the last 3 years the quality has declined drastically. The last few pizza I've ordered have not been great, and tonight I ordered a large cheese pizza with extra cheese. Pretty simple but they still couldn't get it right. The entire pizza was burnt and looked disgusting and it was $30 with a 2 liter of coke. So I did something I never do, I actually brought it back and asked for my money back. In the past I would have just dealt with it and ate it but not anymore. I'm not paying $30 for garbage like this anymore. So from now on I will be going to a different pizza place. It's a little bit further away from my house but the quality is still good. Anthony's Pizza has lost my business. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I ordered $80 of food. We got a large pizza. It was so burnt we couldn't eat it. We got a couple of Greek salads. They didn't even put the right toppings on it. In their salads, the tomatoes were waterlogged. They offer me 25% of my next pizza lol Don't think I will make that mistake again I will never go back .I started to go there in 2018 it's gona down alot the last 2yrs Go to Angelina's across the street now. That's good pizza.
The pictures are what is supposed to be two cheese steak subs. If you love cheese steak like I do I trust the pictures will be evidence of my disappointment and not have to go on and on about it. Just know that my one star is not a knee-jerk reaction. I went back to the restaurant twice to try and make it right...I want a refund to say the least. Both times a manager wasn't there to speak to. My phone number was left, no return call. I shouldn't have to talk to a manager to get my money back on this--somebody should have been able to take care of it. These subs were horrible and service has been horrible as I've tried to give them the benefit of doubt by wasting my gas to go there twice now to make it right.
My mother in law loves this place and who am I to deny her some pizza. We placed our order and 15 minutes later it was done. The inside was spacious and quaint. The young lady who took our order was polite and efficient. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a caesar salad. The pizza is good and the salad was above average. The pizza was suppose to be 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese but they spread the pepperoni throughout the pizza. Kinda disappointing but oh well we are hungry. All that matters is that she was happy.
Not surprised with the service they got my Pizza wrong and the manager says to me she’ll do me the favor and remake the pizza for me.
Then I asked to speak to the owner or the manager. She says she’s the manager and provides me this card and says this is the best way to get in contact with him. This is his fax number. I was a little puzzled.
Caesar salad and a slice of Anthony's Special. Friendly service and really good food.
