Here at 12:30 on a Saturday to pick up an online order. No one home. No option online for a refund either…. We love their food. I get it that you’re a family owned business and can close whenever you want. At least shut down your third party ordering though if you’re gonna do that.
Edit: Did eventually receive a refund from Slice. Still a little annoying that I drove 20 minutes each way from White Pine. Lesson here is call this place to make sure they are actually open before you waste some time driving there
Tried to go once before but they were closed. SO GLAD we returned! Hubs got the small Stromboli & I got a small Veggie Lover pizza. Oh, and, no pic but we also started with a garden salad. The portions were HUGE!!! Expected a small side salad and it was more than enough to feed two & so fresh & yummy. When his Stromboli & my Pizza came out we burst out laughing…just knowing they had the sizes wrong. Nope, look at the pics. Both so delicious. Their sauce is so thick and yummy (no sweetness, which is great) and their crust is cooked to perfection. Fresh, nice ingredients! We have enough leftovers for an entire meal! So happy to find them. Can’t wait to try a sub and calzone. Pick up or dine in - just GO!
We spent $33 and this is what we got. I have never had such bad service in my life, especially from a mom and pops place, and I have never dealt with such a rude owner of a business that could care less about any of his customers, this would be the last place on the planet that I would ever eat again!!!!
I was told this was the best pizza around... I have to agree and reasonably priced too. I spoke with the owner and was told that they ARE open on Mondays they also have a 14" cheese pizza special on Mondays for 7 dollars. Overall I will absolutely be going back regularly. Thanks Anthony's pizza!
I’ll preface this as such- Any time I’ve gone, their food is amazing. But there are so many times we’ll go for dinner about 6pm on a Friday and they’ll already be closed… on a Friday. Their hours are inconsistent so don’t make any real plans to go eat there or you’ll prob be disappointed. I called today to verify if they are open and when they close and they simply said “well we can’t tell you that- we aren’t just gonna sit here and stare at each other for hours”. I found that to be extremely off-putting, and it makes me not want to go back even with as much as I love their food.

I will judge by food, service, atmosphere
Food
Wow… it was bad, i usually am not the type to complain about food but it was bad bad. I ordered a dish that served lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, and lastly chicken parmigiana, my wife ordered two pizzas. The food was so salty that even after an hour we left our stomach hurts.
Not only that, for a 20 dollar menu that served those 3 foods were atrocious. Everything on then plate was old and stale. Fettuccine tasted like they only used cream and potatoes. Lasagna portion is smaller than a baseball and tastes like a clump of salt. Chicken parmigiana…. Wow… the chicken was so thin that I couldn’t even tell there was meat. There was more bread crumbs than chicken meat. The size being close to 1/4 inch (No, I’m not exaggerating people, please look at the pic included). Pizzas… salty we took them home to share for friends all of them sharing the same thought of how salty it is. The red sauce from it was quite delicious other than it being salty… the only thing I can objectively say was good was the salad which was fresh

Lady at the counter was rude but did what we asked, not good at explaining menus and pricing ( I can’t believe I wrote that for a server )
Atmosphere
I personally am not to picky about the atmosphere. Did look like the building can use a facelift or renovation.
Entering from the door it is a straight line 2/3 of it being kitchen and 1/3 being seating. About 30 - 40 people seating is prepared. Black and white checkered floor with poor lighting, the walls being red brick walls does make it a odd combination. However as odd it may seem it does serve its purpose well.
All in all if you are reading this review, I’d advise you to please not come here. I’m sorry to say but it is the worst Italian restaurant I have ever stepped foot in… and I’ve been in some pretty bad ones and never even considered to write a bad review… please for your safety AVOID
So so yummy! I haven’t had pizza this good since upstate. The crust is so crispy and the sauce is so damn good! Will be coming here more frequently. The sauce was not too acidic which was awesome! P.S i really appreciate the message in the box! Such a great anniversary dinner. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My husband has came a few times and I finally got to try out Anthony's today. Pizza was wonderful, Mozzarella Sticks were great, and the salad was tasty! I'd give it a try if I were you!
