Anthony's Fish Bar offers a great dining experience. The whipped brie appetizer was a standout, a delightful combination of creamy brie, sweet caramelized onions, and a drizzle of honey.
While the Wild Alaskan King Salmon was decent, it lacked a bit of excitement. The fresh Wild Alaskan Halibut, however, was a true highlight. The subtle sauce added a lovely moisture to the fish, though we missed the promised champs. Nevertheless, the halibut itself was cooked to perfection.
Overall, a solid seafood restaurant with some excellent dishes.
We went here twice during our weekend visit in Seattle because it was such a wonderful experience. The food was incredible and the service was amazing. Both nights the servers were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Both of us needing gluten free options, we were easily able to find something that worked for us.
The seasonal watermelon salad was so delicious and the presentation of everything was just beautiful. Highly recommend this place!
What a great night with amazing service and wonderful food! My daughter and I had so much fun. We just ordered all the appetizers. The whipped brie and oysters were amazing! We actually ordered another dozen oysters. Great view! We will be back, we really enjoyed it!
Everything was absolutely delicious! Each dish was a true delight. The crab was juicy and tender, not bland at all. The salmon with asparagus and rice was also excellent: the rice had the perfect texture, not dry or undercooked, and the salmon was simply mouthwatering. The dessert with blueberries and ice cream at the end of the meal was outstanding: slightly warm, and the combination of ice cream, blueberries, and sponge cake was incredibly well-balanced and very tasty.
The service was top-notch: the waiter was attentive but not intrusive. He checked in from time to time to ensure everything was fine, always thoughtful, and discreetly refilled our water when we were running low. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely come back again. We’ll also be recommending this restaurant to our friends!
Thank you, Riley T
Anthony’s Pier 66 is decently located right on the waterfront, offering what could be considered one of the prime dining spots in the city. However, my experience there left me feeling that the restaurant relies heavily on its location to justify its high prices. The food, was okay, did not meet the expectations set by the gourmet price tag. It was simply okay, lacking the distinctive quality or flair that one might expect from a restaurant with such a prestigious setting.
The service was competent but unremarkable, further contributing to the sense of mediocrity that belied the upscale billing. Sitting at the restaurant, enjoying the views of the harbor, I couldn't help but feel that you're mostly paying for the view rather than the culinary experience. In essence, Anthony’s Pier 66 seems to be a typical mid-level restaurant dressed up in a gourmet restaurant's pricing, which might be disappointing for those expecting a meal to match the spectacular location.
We stopped here for some light evening snacks. I ordered an IPA with the salmon cake which was pretty good. We also got a cup each of the chowder. The crab was good but my wife preferred the clam chowder slightly more. We also got a pale ale with calamari which was pretty good as well. They had a nice menu and maybe we will come back sometime for dinner. Service was good and the place didn't seem a lot busy given it was a Sunday evening. We got a seat outside as we wanted to just bask in the sun with the view.
We are from Spokane, so we wanted to try the Seattle Anthony’s at Pier 66. We loved it! The food was great, and the atmosphere was great—including a window table that allowed us to enjoy the water view and, surprise!, a lovely double rainbow! We also loved our server, Heidi, who did a fantastic job. While professional, she was also personable. She went out of her way to insure that we had an incredible night. I could tell she was also giving the other tables her best service. Heidi made a good restaurant even better! Thanks, Heidi!
Absolutely delicious and fresh fish! We got the king salmon, fish duo, crab cakes, the halibut, salad (not pictured here), and oysters. My personal favorite was the halibut. It was light and sweetened by wine and berries. Absolutely delicious and fresh. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter was attentive to us. The views were incredible. Incredible dinner spot! Absolutely recommend!
