Honest to goodness NYC pizza in the HoCo. Lots of pretenders but this throne goes to Anthony’s for actual thin crispy crust, with just the right chew, high quality cheese and sauce that doesn’t rely on salt but on flavor. This is the closest I’ve had outside the city. We also ordered a healthier Spinach Stuffed Eggplant that had delicious flavors, if a little underdone. Heated up later at home, it too was awesomely creamy without overwhelming the spinach and eggplant. The service was so friendly and courteous, we KNEW we weren’t in NYC ????
Wow! We stopped at Anthony's expecting to try a different, local pizza joint and instead we were treated to a fantastic Italian restaurant. Our server was friendly and professional, the food was great, the atmosphere was enjoyable. We drew comparisons to Facci. We will be back! (Note: I intentionally took this photo so as to not show other diners. There were plenty of customers around!)
Walked into a completely dead restaurant with no patrons at all. Was seated quickly, and my order was taken quickly.
Bread wasn't bad. It's definitely nice and warm. Soft in the middle and crisp on the outside. Tasted fresh.
I ordered the stuffed shells with meat sauce. It came out piping hot and still bubbling. Not bad at all. I needed something close to home good, and this satisfied it. Thank you.
Normally, I would have a review saying it tasted even better cold the next day. However, my leftovers went to a homeless family standing outside of a shopping center on a school night looking for help. Apparently, not even the school their children attend are helping with anything. And they are being turned away from assistance programs. It is a rather repetitive thing I am hearing across a large majority of this entire state. Sad. I went through the same as a single mom and foster mom for 20 years. And over the pandemic. It's not surprising at all. Those employed on the taxpayers dime aren't fulfilling their duties and not being held accountable. And it is showing in record numbers.
this restaurant is one of our favorites on our eating list that me and my girlfriend has she likes eating here because they do a vegan option to her that she loves so much that they know who she is the food in the atmosphere is very great. it is located in Clarksville Maryland. If you ever get a chance while are you out there visit him the staff is very friendly and the manager will work. He works very well with his team
Been coming here regularly for over 4 years, and today was it for us and never again. got their most expensive pie which was the crab meat 16 inches for 21 dollars. They messed up the pizza, put a totaly different pie in the system and i can see it on my receipt, I personally saw them put the cold crab meat on the wrong pizza they made. And when he handed to me, I asked....so the crab meat doesn't get cooked with the pie? He said...we microwaved it....I'm sorry I mean we toasted and put it on top. I was like ok, didn't want to be rude. Once I got to my car and tried the crab meat, was cold as *&**. I went in to tell him, he should never lie to a customer about the food, if was made wrong, just fix the issue and all be good. But no, he just laugh and I walked away. Never again. Oh yeah, my total order was over 80 dollars!
First time here… and we loved it!
Omg this was the first time I ordered from here and I have a gluten free allergy. I had the gluten free penne with grilled chicken and bread. The seasoning on the chicken was so delicious and the food itself was so fresh! I loved it! Plus I was super hungry after a workout. I will be back! Service was great too the guy on the phone with me from the front desk was super nice. Everyone should come here, you will not regret! :) Thank you!
Best pizza I’ve had by far in a long time! Worth the trip to MD just for the pizza! Only problem is the toppings are so plentiful they slide off easily when a piece is picked up. Garlic knots not so good this time around, but were delicious last time. Looking forward to the next trip down!
