Best WLM Reviews

This pizzeria restaurant has a nice NYC vibe and I appreciate the tribute to the Twin Towers! The Sicilian Deluxe I think it’s called with all the meat to satisfy the pickiest of eaters was my choice and a traditional pepperoni for the kids and a chicken parmigiana hero for the Mrs, we were all very impressed and pleased! I recommend this place!
Terrible business and management
Went there for a funeral on Sunday everyone that's been there has been going there for 15 years.
At the end of the meal the bill was paid left a nice generous tip for the server Lorraine / manager I was never informed that there would be any kind of additional $70 charge added to the bill. When we call to make the reservation that was never told to us considering that we've been coming there for years any added costs.
The bill was paid and Monday the people's parents passed away so on their credit card an additional $70 added to the bill that the bill was closed out. Hey check the receipt there was nothing on there for extra money what is the tip on after the after they left that is deceiving fraud
And stealing.
The owner refuse to do anything about it server refused to give back the $100 that she ordered that they gave her on top of $70 that she added on to the check after it was closed down unprofessional business unprofessional ownership and professional Management did you go to Anthony's I would watch for your chargers for large parties considering that nothing was ever told to us why would the guests leave $170 tip totally ridiculous poor business ownership.
So decided we’d take my brother in-law out for his birthday, we chose Italian and oh the place was detailed with NY photos. Wouldn’t you know it him & my sister live in Queens, NY. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS ???? and mouth watering. We started with the muscles in a white wine sauce, add some garlic knots ???? and I had the salmon garnished with a white butter sauce and mandarin oranges ???? yum ???? the portions were enough for 2-3 people. Pls if your in the mood for authentic Italian food, this place is a must folks. Bon Apetit’
Good garlic knots are very hard to come by!!! I'd know because I love them so much and have been on a mission to find a place that has delicious ones since relocating to the area. I'd never been to nor heard of Anthony's before visiting recently. I have to say, the knots were decent and the marinara was too. I ordered 1/2 dozen.
Service was amazing. We ordered the 30” pizza it did not disappoint. The crust was crispy and one of the best pizzas I have had in Florida and I don’t even really like pizza. The chef came to the table a true Italian guy who knows how to make a pie. Will be back again when we visit New Port Richie again!
Awful watery Margherita pizza. Not sure why a slicer type tomato was used on this. Should definitely be using Romas. Don’t worry though, as I anticipated this watery mess would come, and I fixed it. Guys cmon please use better quality tomatoes. I roasted and seasoned mine. Used Flavorgods Pizza seasoning and light sugar on them. I showed photos of the original pizza. The liquid I had to dab off, and the end result with the bad tomatoes off and good tomatoes on.
Bumped it up to 2 stars because the crust is actually fantastic...Really great pizza crust of all things. I'll give you guys another shot down the road I think. Different pizza though.
This review is because of the pizza (which we could not eat and had to throw away); the owner never returned several phone calls and Rosa the Manager would not refund the money but promised a credit of $23.49. Although hesitated to go back, we attempted to use the credit 2/11/23 and was told there was a note in the system that they could not take our order. The issue was: ordered a deluxe Pizza substituting the pepperoni for meatballs. Pick up on time but Pizza still wasn't ready. Took the pizza home and dough undercooked, veggies undercooked and meatballs were ground beef that looked like dog food and tasted terrible. See photo. Stay away. Poor management and questionable food quality to say the least.
We tried this restaurant because we wanted something Italian... We tried 4 dishes between the 5 of us and every dish was excellent. The waitress Meadow was very attentive and sweet natured... Making this a very enjoyable dinner.
