Best WLM Reviews
Came here on a Wednesday night, got seated right away. We ordered the Saganaki, hummus(jalapeno one) and the Taste of Greece.
We loved the Saganaki it melted perfectly and had the best cheese pull and worked well with the pita that was served, even tho when it came out it was not warm.
The hummus was delicious, had a nice tang to it and the jalapeno and cilantro came through nicely.
The taste of Greece was okay, we got the lamb option and this was $3 more. There was a Greek salad, rice, one lamb skewer, gyro, dolma, and spanakopita. Came with a side of tahini.
I'll start with the good, the lamb was cooked and seasoned well. It was juicy also. I enjoyed the Greek salad. The gyro was delicious, I like that it was crispy on the outer side and soft on the inner side.
I loved the dolma the best, the stuffed grape leaves. It had a tomato based sauce that pulled it together.
The rice, and spanakopita were not great. I felt like the rice was lacking in flavor and not cooked well.
The spanakopita was very soggy and the pasty was not light and fluffy like it typically is. These two items brought the dish down for me.
I thought the tahini had a strong garlic flavor but this paired well with the other items on the plate.
The service was great though. I would go back to try some other dishes.
Had dinner tonight at Ansari’s and Claire was our food servicer. We orders apps from the happy hour menu after Claire gave us some suggestions on their signature items, sauces, etc.
We went 100% with Claire’s suggestions and informative descriptions of each dish as we’d never been there before and Claire seemed so knowledgeable on the menu. The food items were so absolutely delicious along with the baklava. ????????????
Our apps were fantastic which included steak chunks, hummus with pita bread, veggies, roasted cauliflower. We finished dinner with baklava. Everything was so tasty and Claire provided excellent professional service. Will definitely be back and ask for Claire!????
After making an online reservation, we arrived at the restaurant and found the parking lot full, which we took as a positive sign for a place we had not previously dined at. We managed to find a spot in the back. Arriving at 5:30 pm on a Friday, we caught the tail end of their Monday-Friday Happy Hour. My friend had a glass of Merlot and we selected a variety of appetizers from the Happy Hour menu: roasted cauliflower, the falafel plate, calamari, and the lamb gyro. The appetizers were well-presented, each accompanied by a flavorful house-made sauce. We enjoyed all of them. The service was excellent and efficient, and we look forward to returning.
Food is authentic and delicious. Belly dancing show on weekend nights really enjoyable! Bar area can get really loud. Fantastic patio.
Stopped here for happy hour and had a great time. Service was amazing. We tried a bunch of different items and our favorites were the gyro & the steak bites.
The happy hour vibe felt more like a chill local bar opposed to a restaurant with people playing pulltabs and watching sports.
Update: They charged my card for more than the total I put down, shady.
Yummy food & excellent service. Had the falafel wrap with chips on the side & a summer mocktail - it was all delicious and flavorful ????????
My friend brought me here for my first time and I will be back as soon as I can!! I am OBSESSED with this place! Their tap list changes often and they have a TONS of craft beer on tap. It was really hard to decide between the amazing variety of drinks and good, but everything we got was great! All of the food we got was delicious and it was very filling! And we had tons leftovers to take home as well.
Our server Lindsey was extremely attentive and helpful, and made sure our meals were perfect! She was very personable and it truly made us feel at home. I will be requesting her every time! If I lived closer I’d come here multiple times a week. Cannot wait to come back!!
The food was really good and well portioned. They have a very comprehensive wine and beer menu with many local brews. Grace was our server, and she was very attentive and pleasant. The decor is a little different, with multiple themes going on.
