Best WLM Reviews

The breakfast choices were interesting and we thought the food was good. The lemon goat cheese pancakes were missing lemon though! Punch that flavor in there. Get the syrup with them otherwise they're very dry. The biscuits with gravy could also could use some extra flavor, but the biscuits were baked perfectly. The lobster omelet was a solid choice but the fruit was a little on the aged side. The coffee they use has a great flavor and overall we thought it was a good breakfast.
The food was wonderful. The customer service was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and attended to our needs at a timely manner. Loretta our host provide us with the best service. I highly recommend this place for your next brunch meal!
Amazing breakfast and super friendly staff. Beignets were my fave! Will definitely come back and recommend to others!
Highly recommend the scrambler breakfast. For those who don't eat pork, there are chicken sausage options. The pancakes were delicious. The pancakes photographed in this review were the apricot pancakes. There was a layer of apricots in between the pancakes, so yummy. For first timers, they gave a free order of beignets with an orange marmalade. Our server was extremely friendly, attentive, and a super nice guy.
I’m not the one usually post bad reviews. I do however like to keep things transparent when I do and will rate things good or bad. This brunch spot in my opinion as tempting as the name and brunch photos look i think they have one of the worst breakfast in Houston. Let’s start off with the pros:
The place is nicely decorated and creates a well accepted environment vibes alongside some good music. Cons: the service is very slow. The waitress although very nice and did bring us our food and drinks. I honestly feel it could have been better. The food variety in this place is slim to none, there wasn’t much to really choose from. I feel they could have made more options but that’s not the worst part. We ordered the traditional breakfast it’s like a dennys grand slam but way more in price and tasteless. The eggs were extremely dry almost seemed as if they were from a carton box. The sausage patty was also no flavor and overcooked to where it was hard yo chew. the pancakes were an additional price of $4 and were flat, overcooked and also tasteless. It's safe to say this place needs a full makeover in menu and cooking.
Total disappointment for my 1st time. The staff was disorganized, place was unkempt at 10am, and my mimosa, although tasty, was kid sized. Nothing spectacular about the food, my server was nice but the delay in service over-shined her niceness. Probably my 1st and last visit.
First time visiting here.. Fathers Day of all days !Made an 11am reserved waiting time of all times ! Got on the waiting list early and arrived 15 min prior to waiting list time (party of 5) ... places to sit while I waited or could sit at the bar. Super polite and attentive host. Called me by name as soon as I checked in.. Continued updating me throughout my 15 min wait. Sat my party at exactly 11am even though only 2 of us had arrived. 3 arrived 10 min later. Loretta was our server and though the place was packed beyond belief we were treated like her only table. The food was picture perfect and tasted amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant !
I only gave 3 stars for environment because it was loud... but loud in a good way, people enjoying themselves. I personally enjoy a bit quieter environment. I will go here during a time other than a popular holiday and I'm sure it will be worthy of 5 stars then.
Been here a few times when it's not so packed. The waiters are friendly and so sweet to us checking how we're doing. I'd recommend trying any dish with seafood as that's what their aim for unique brunch is compared to other places. I tried their omelette with crab and it was delicious. Don't be too surprised how big the biscuits are ????
