Had a fabulous breakfast this morning at Broken Egg Cafe. Every meal was delicious; no complaints with anything. My husband enjoyed the shrimp Benny and the lemon blueberry with goat cheese topped with whipped cream short stack (my choice) was equally as good. I also loved the side of "baked" bacon. As new comers, we were treated with a plate on biscuit beignets with homemade marmalade. Yum! Scrambled eggs from the gluten free menu and the kids waffle sampler... All good. But, I have to say the highlight of our breakfast was our server, Jenny. We have never enjoyed a more personable, friendly and caring person waiting on us. We felt as if we were in her home and part of her family. Jenny knew the menu, inside and out, and was able to help with selections. She is such an asset to the restaurant. Well done Broken Egg!
My family came to visit from out out town and we absolutely loved it. Our server was Jenny and she was great!!!! She was able to suggest some items for us and it did not disappoint! Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and even better prices.
Stopped in for breakfast. Immediately loved the vibe. The morning was breezy enough to dine outside, so we did. It felt like we were dining in an old Victorian house, and with the music that was playing, it reminded me of Disney World. I know that sounds wild, but it did!
Their house bloody mary mix was bright (If that makes sense) and different than any other I've tasted. The food was delicious, the service was great.
The lobster Benedict left me wondering where the lobster was. There was not enough Hollandaise sauce. They charge you for extra that comes out cold in a small tiny cup. The biscuit was great. It would normally be a 3 if they didn't nickel and dime for sauce. But you can see in the pictures that the sauce was lacking. Potato bed was too thick.
Jenny was a wonderful and helpful waitress...we followed her suggestions of the Shrimp Benny with the City Grits...only downside was for some odd reason, we became extremely sleepy after! Thanks Jenny...you were a absolute pleasure!
The bourbon pancakes and shrimp & grits was fire and my waitress Jenny was amazing definitely recommend coming here

Location: Harrison Ave...A must visit Cafe. The food is absolutely delicious. The portions are more than fulfilling and for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is so welcoming, the staff warm and friendly. My friends and I had the pleasure of having Lindsey as our server. Patient, good energy and on point when it came to the items on the menu. Be sure to get some spiked coffee wink wink. I give Another Broken Egg a 10/10.
