When you order you get a big portion which is so worth it. I’ve ordered and dine in and the food is just as tasty. The only downfall is one of the servers wasn’t so kind when I told her that the sunny side up eggs were way more raw than I’d like them to be. She wasn’t accepting and said that that’s how sunny side up is. She took forever to ‘make me another one.’ I finished eating, payed, and she never showed up.
I would recommend the cinnamons roll fresh toast and they’re black coffee taste fresh.
When I come to Lafayette, my favorite "go to" breakfast stop is Another Broken Egg. I love their coffee! This visit I enjoyed the Monterey Power Omelette which was very tasty. Madison M was very attentive, and her service helped make this another wonderful experience!
This was our first time dining here, and can say with 100% certainty that it will not be our last! Our server was so so sweet and the food was amazing :) Can't wait to come back!
3/31/24- Easter Sunday, during our family gathering weekend, we went here for brunch. We've
been here a few times before. Everything was delicious. This time, we had the Biscuit Beignets, they were really good! Our server was good.
I'll certainly be back next time I'm in Lafayette.
I finally stopped to try Another Broken Egg on my birthday. The wait was about 45 minutes for a table of 1, but it was Memorial Day also. The service was amazing and Emily gave me excellent recommendations. The food came out very quick and it was packed full of flavor! I will definitely be back again to try more menu options!
Extremely underwhelming. Waited almost an hour just for the food to show up cold. Their holiday menu looks good but the lobster hash is not worth the price. The mushrooms are over cooked and bitter. Barely any lobster. The poached eggs were both over and undercooked. The jambalaya was flavorless (at least it was warm.)The best thing we had was the children’s pancakes for our 15 month old. Service was horribly slow and we kept having to flag down a waiter to get refills on water. For the price, this is not worth it in my honest opinion. Won’t be back any time soon.
Visited for a bachelorette brunch for my niece. Wasn't able to make reservations, but our wait wasn't very long. Our waitress was very knowledgeable & friendly. I ordered from the Seasonal Menu & had the "Fall Louisiana Benedict" & paired it with ABE Famous Infused Mary. The meal was savory, very flavorful, something I'd order again (too bad it's seasonal). The Bloody Mary was good, & had a nice little kick of spice. Everything about our visit & meal was great. Everyone enjoyed their food & the atmosphere.
Presentation of the food looked great. Service was awesome for how busy it was. The overall vibe was great, but was pretty disappointed with the actual taste of the food. Everything tasted like it had sugar added to it including the espresso that was more sweet than bitter
