Delicious food. The service staff were friendly and helpful, with great timing. The atmosphere was conducive to a relaxing group breakfast. They were very accommodating my dairy dietary restrictions by removing the goat cheese from my order. Eggs were better than I can make on my own, and delicious. Limited but good tea selection. Would happily visit again.
Unfortunately have been here twice where my expectations weren’t met. The first time we went - the food was fantastic. However, the service was very delayed (I assume an order was forgotten to be put in). Without prompting, our server gave us two free entree coupons to use to come back. So we did. This time, the service was OK but the food was a complete miss. I ordered an egg white omelet (I don’t remember what the dish was called) and there were what appeared to be over 10 cloves of garlic. Raw garlic. It was horrible and made the omelet very hard to eat because it was crunch garlic in every bite. See photo. I would not recommend ordering anything with garlic and pick a time when they aren’t slammed to go in, it is a crowded restaurant.
Abby was kind & pleasant! She suggested great food & drink items. Abby offered refills on our beverages. The fruit bowl was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The scrambled eggs were great! Definitely not the liquid stuff that other restaurants use. We will be back!
Def in my top 3 places for breakfast on the west side. Brie is AMAZING! Not only was her service quick and accurate, but she was also running around juggling more than just tables. Ask for Brie!
I have been here multiple times and I love it! The food is outstanding and the staff is very nice. Sophia was my waitress and she was absolutely amazing. Never had to wait for anything and gave us everything we needed. Great place to enjoy brunch!
First of Isabel is a super beautiful girl, and really friendly. She made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Made sure i was set, her vibe was really good i could feel the energy & it was good. I would come here again, not only was the service great but the environment was really good and clean. 10/10 service
Been here a handful of times at this point and unfortunately this place is really hit or miss at least for me.
Food: Omelettes are always good, Benedicts are always good. The sweet items are generally good but sometimes overly sweet.
Chicken and waffles were bland and soggy.
The potatoes are often dry, overcooked, or come out cold.
The seasonal Gingerbread waffle, is just a regular waffle with a ton of ground ginger on top, INEDIBLE.
I’ve also had issues with the coffee being watery, like they had reused the beans.
The service has also been hit or miss. Nobody has been rude or anything but we’ve had the wrong stuff come out or have staff not really care about the mistake. Sometimes it is perfect!
Had a wonderful breakfast experience thanks to my excellent server Abby. I had never been to ABE before and she was very patient with me, even though the cafe was very busy. I ordered on her recommendation and was very happy with what I had. Fantastic experience all around and will be happy to come again!
