Best WLM Reviews
Went on a late Monday Morning. Shanna was our exceptional server. Very attentive and the food came out correctly and quickly! This is the first time here and I am impressed. A great family friendly breakfast/brunch place with lots of choices and variations of many of their classic meals. The place was clean and fully accessible! They even offered a 10 percent military discount! Overall impression was at least four stars! I would offer five but the sausage had some spices on it that was not super appetizing and the hollandaise on the Benedict was quite sour. Very few places I have tried Benedict are able to ensure the hollandaise is creamy and buttery. I will return again and happy to know there is a quality breakfast place to take the family!! Thanks for a great dining experience and excellent service!!
Updated Review: A fantastic experience at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Palm Bay, FL!
I had an incredible dining experience at Another Broken Egg Cafe on Palm Bay Rd in Palm Bay, FL. Our server, Garret, went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable meal. He suggested a unique combination for my husband, bringing together two of his favorites: Biscuits and Gravy paired with the poached eggs from the Benedict. It was a deliciously creative twist! I also had the Belgian waffle topped with fresh strawberries, and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly crispy and sweet. The service was exceptional, making the meal feel even more special. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a satisfying and well-served breakfast!
Fully accessible venue with a rustic dining area and service that is second to none!
Our first visit and oh man it was so good!!! I had the biscuits & gravy which came with 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties that definitely did not come out of a machine, and I opted to get the City grits. The biscuit and gravy was phenomenal! It was so good and the sausage patties had such a delicious flavor and it was so nice not to eat a sausage fatty that looked like it had been made with a cookie cutter. The city grits come with bacon tomatoes and green peppers on top and were absolutely wonderful. There was a minor glitch in that my eggs came out sunny-side up, when I had asked for over medium but that was quickly remedied in less than 2 minutes I had two new eggs on my plate. I do wish they offered smaller portions because I only managed to eat half of what they brought out one egg, part of a biscuit, a couple spoonfuls of grits, and one sausage patty.
We also got a half order of biscuit beignets. They were pretty good but not my favorite part of the breakfast however it is served with a honey marmalade that was so good you will probably just want to eat that straight. My husband is from New Orleans and we've gone there multiple times so regular beignets are the best; we haven't found anything that's a comparable substitute anywhere.
My husband opted to try one of their seasonal specials which was the soft shell crab scramble. He said it was really good and the body of the crab was juicy and tender. Unfortunately the legs were a little overcooked, but he said it was still delicious. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and he got the potatoes for his side which had a really good flavor and were cooked just right!
Our meal came up to around $50 for the two of us which is definitely on the pricier side, but his meal with the softshell crab was $17 by itself. The portions are very large, as I said I was only able to eat about half of my serving, so if you had something that would transport well you could definitely have two meals out of what you were served. We really enjoyed our visit and we will definitely be back!
First time at another broke egg cafe.
They have a very complete menu full of options.
I ordered a BLT&a and my husband had de seasonal lobster Benedict. The portions are large but a little too greasy, they toast the outside of my bread with butter and it was hard to hold it to eat, felt too oily.
The service was great.
I ordered online half chicken and waffles, with cup of gumbo at 9:35, pick up was 9:51. I was told they need five more minutes and I got my order at 10:05. The chicken looked like two medium cut fries skinny. I will say to be honest the waffle was fluffy and the gumbo was well seasoned and great. It was in a small to-go canister for reference. It shouldn’t take 30 mins to make that small portion of food. What was even more upsetting was the restaurant wasn’t even full. The young lady (apologies if she has pronouns) with the jet black hair and dark mascara wasn’t rude, however had limited customer service. She announced she would check, reported back they needed 5 more minutes and hovered in the back peeking out to see if other customer were entering. When she finally came back after other patrons entered the establishment. I asked for additional plain syrup and she came across as I was doing her a favor. I was visibly upset, no apology on behalf of the kitchen or follow-up because the eta got expanded. Her demeanor imo isn’t meant for front of the house. If this kitchen can’t fry two Cheeto sized tenders and half a waffle and put a pre-made gumbo which was delicious but wasn’t made fresh in your allotted 15 minutes. I just don’t know, I have no words.
Upscale Menu + Excellent Service
Sofia was so friendly and professional.
We had the Smoked Salmon Benedict and the Blackstone Benedict, both were perfect. Great coffee, and Orange Mimosa too.
I have to brag , brag, brag about our friendly server Robert. His service was on point. I really enjoyed my waffles. So yummy. My sister had the "Huevos rancheros" and my niece had the "Hey Lucy. " the food was hit and delicious. Great portions too.
The atmosphere is cute, but everything else was not great. The server was kind, but after waiting a while for our food we were told there must have been a “glitch in system” and our food was being made on the fly. After waiting another 15 minutes, our food came and it was terrible. The grits were hard as if they had been sitting in the window, the eggs were dry with no flavor, and the “sausage” looked and tasted like mini beef patties. This was our first, and LAST visit.
**Updated review**
Being a parent of 2 little ones, sometimes things get left behind. We left a Dr Brown's weighted straw cup for our 10 month old on the table. Didn't notice it til we got home and by that time they were closed. I called first thing Monday morning and got no response. Left a voicemail and got no callback. Decided to pop in 3 days later and retrieve it. The hostess acknowledged that she remembers seeing it but she didn't know what happened to it. I spoke with a "manager" and his response was "we threw it away". Excuse me? You don't keep personal items that are left behind? He said "not when it's been in someone's mouth". First of all, it has a cap that covers the straw and second, who throws away a baby bottle?? Besides all of that, it was his lack of sympathy that really prompted me to edit my review. He showed a complete lack of care and didn't even apologize for throwing away our personal property. I felt like he was obligated to speak to me and that he really didn't want to even deal with something so silly, in his eyes. I'll go buy another one for $7, that's not a big deal. But running a place of business with the kind of attitude he showed me just isn't somewhere I'd ever support again. So you lost a customer over a baby bottle, I hope that was worth it.
Let me be very clear; Had the manager showed the slightest bit of sympathy or even gave me an empty apology, this review might have gone a little bit differently. But failing to apologize for throwing away personal property, and also failing to return my call from two days ago, is unacceptable behavior for someone representing the face of this establishment.
Our first time here. We reserved online so when we arrived, the wait was minimal just to clear a table. Food was great, staff was friendly. Service was not the best in terms of speed and the food took a little long but I'm not knocking them for this since it was Father's Day and I'm sure busier than normal. Price was reasonable in today's market. Overall we would absolutely be back again.
I'm a breakfast person. So any place that sells breakfast late enough for me to have it, since I do Intermittent fasting and sometimes can't break my fast early in the morning, gets a 5 ⭐ from me!
