This was our first time staying here. We received a gift card a while ago and finally got the chance to use it. We stayed in the mountain retreat, I was concerned with how old the building is that it wouldn’t be very nice. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and nice the room was. All of the employees were so kind and made the experience so much better!!
This place was so great! We were in the Mysteries of Egypt room, which was very cool! The front desk people - Mariah and Randy - were extremely welcoming and helpful. It was clean and comfortable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
We stayed here for a mini vacation during FanX. The customer service was great. Everything else was not.
The room we stayed in was two levels, with the bedroom above. The AC worked fine on the lower level, but not at all on the upper level. When we picked up the phone to call maintenance we discovered it wasn't plugged into anything. Called the hotel on my cell, the wonderful woman working the front desk contacted maintenance. They wanted us to find a remote they later realized didn't exist, and after a few back and forths through the front desk, they concluded that they couldn't do anything about it. The woman at the front desk was able to get us into a different room.
Still a diamond room, but with only a queen bed. Upper floor was hot, although not as hot as the other room. At least the TV up there worked, as the one by the bed did not. The AC in this room made it to cold, and the remote did nothing to change it, but it was at least acceptable to sleep.
The final issue came at breakfast. We had ordered a side of bacon to go with the eggs. We ended up with cold rubbery eggs, no bacon. Still charged for the bacon, although I didn't know that until we had left.
My husband and I decided to book here on a last minute whim instead of our regular spot, Radisson Downtown. I've never wanted to spend the money to stay at an Anniversary Inn, but my brother & husband talked me into it. We regret it so much.
We booked the Hayloft Suite because it was the only one available. It was one of the smallest hotel rooms I'd ever been in, the mirror was tiny, there was no hand soap, the TV was old and had lines running through the display, the shower never quite got up to temp, there was no AC, just a box fan, the room got SO HOT around 9:45 am, there were holes in the curtain, the breakfast was small & seemed like it was all Schwan's frozen foods... I was so disappointed that we spent $250 on what we got. We won't be patronizing an Anniversary Inn ever again, as we get much better value for half the price at other establishments.
Staff is friendly and helpful. We came back to our honeymoon room. We forgot that our room was 3 sets of stairs. We found out that 20 years made the stairs slower, haha. We will definitely be coming back, but next time, no stairs. Haha
Horrible customer service all anniversary ends have been bought out. I was told by some corporate company. You can’t even get a hold of anyone on the phone at any locations there one 800 number doesn’t properly it just goes straight to voicemail. I have been a guest for many years and I am very dissatisfied, with the way they are running things. Their rooms are falling apart breaking down filthy dirty. It’s really sad because this was a beautiful place to spend your anniversary at and it was very unique. I really hope that they get their stuff together and fix these issues or no one is gonna want to come back
You should be ashamed to be called and anniversary inn !My husband was so excited to book with you for are 10 year anniversary! Do not stay here it's not safe or clean. They have a sign up in the parking lot saying not responsible for damage of vehicle or content of stuff in vehicle. When your staying at a hotel you should need to be worried about your vehicle or stuffs safety. They don't have any sort of TV, of course they don't put that in the hotel description. You half to go down stairs and barrow dvds .Not what you're thinking 300 dollars a night for. The bathroom tub and hall way was nasty, bugs and just dirty .when we got their they asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, had us fill out a paper for breakfast in the morning picked a time and no one brought us up breakfast. We waited and hour. Went downstairs to talk to the host and no one spoke any English. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL . Don't waist your money and be disappointed and disgusted like us.
My husband booked a 1 night stay at anniversary inn at the south temple location and it was AWFUL. Our room was so disgusting I don’t think it was cleaned. We stood outside for 20 minutes trying to get in. The door was locked, we knocked, rang the door bell and even tried calling the number that was on the door and the person who answered said this isn’t the right location….once a girl noticed we were there and let us in she said they keep it locked because a man came in 2 nights ago and was trying to hurt people. I have PTSD so this absolutely scared me. We got to our room and it was disgusting. There were stains on the bed and dust covering the fridge and TV and other thing. There was a thick black ring in our tub that looked so disgusting. They left an old pot of coffee that was almost moldy, when I pored it out it smelled so bad. The windows were all cracked and dirty and the bed was rock hard and dusty. We complained and the girl said we would have to call the manager. We still haven’t been able to get a hold of her through calls or emails. We ended up not staying the night and losing $219 just for that one night. Our whole trip was ruined and I will NEVER go back.
