Best WLM Reviews

We stayed in the Vegas Knights room at the Logan location. The layout of the room was very nice. The entrance the game room the view. Honestly impressive. It was when we actually got into the room and started seeing the condition when we became very disappointed. First off the controls for the Jetta tub or broken. There are holes in the walls for things have been attached in the holes, not patched after the screws removed. Tiles are broken and in general the place is pretty filthy. The sofa in the bedroom was absolutely gross with stains all over it. Being the type of hotel , this is you have to wonder what those things are from. The smell of the towels was gross. It smelled like they had been left in the washer overnight gone moldy, and then been dried. We had to order refreshed and there wasn’t much difference. No choices for breakfast . Only and it wasn’t very good. Ordered a glass of fruit juice and got half of glass of fruit juice. The bumper pool table and game room was a joke. The box to catch the balls going down the hole in the pool table was missing so the ball went onto the floor. Also, the pool table surface itself was absolutely gross with spills all over on it. Likewise, when you turn the table top over for the card table, it was in the same condition. The lock was broken on our door when we arrived. I called the front desk on three issues and all were addressed immediately. Staff was great, although their hands were tied as far as anything they could do other than offer us another room. Which we did not want so we stuck it out. The huge disappointment is just in the quality of the facility and the amenities. Unmaintained and dirty. We’ve stayed at anniversary and a few times in different locations but this time it was really not good. I doubt we’ll return.
I'm really disappointed with the changes that they have made. It is probably the best looking anniversary inn. The rooms are great we have stayed maybe 8 or 9 times but the last was so disappointing. They no longer let you choose your breakfast. All the dishes are cheap plastic. They didn't have robes in the rooms. I hate to say I won't be returning but it is no longer worth it. Hopefully the ones in salt lake don't follow suit
We have been staying at Anniversary Inn several times a year for the last 3 years and have loved it… however, the last two times have been less than satisfactory since they changed to new management. More expensive but with cheaper amenities. We used to feel taken care of. There used to be real plates and silverware for breakfast with a romantic feel. They now give you plastic utensils. The last time we stayed, our room was dirty. The tub was dirty and the glasses left in the room had been used. We let the staff know but all they did was say sorry and just brought new glasses. No offer to clean the room correctly. This time we did not have any hot water and one of the TV’s did not work. We called the front desk and was told “sorry” but did not get offered a solution for it. We will not be staying there anymore.
I heard great things about Anniversary Inn from several friends so I ignored all of the 1 star reviews here and checked it out. I checked into the Caribbean Sea Room. We received decent service while checking in, but that was about the only service we received while staying here.
At first glance it was a little run down- random dent in the floor and the toilet was half broken. I paid for the scattered rose option and the attached picture is what I received. You can decide for yourself whether that's worth $15 to you or not. We quickly noticed that our room had no hot water. Unacceptable for a room I'm paying $200+ for. I tried to call the front desk only to realize that the landline in our room had no network connection. "No big deal" I thought, I'll just call on my cell. I was answered by a "this number is not in service". After walking to the front desk and talking with the ladies there they assured me that maintenance was on their way. We never heard anything back from them and we had no hot water for the rest of the night. When the main draw to these rooms is the jacuzzi tub, I don't understand how it's okay to run out of hot water like that.
In the morning we received the wrong breakfast (eventually we did receive the one we ordered, but I feel bad for the room that was supposed to get the one that was delivered to us) and I wasn't asked how the stay was or anything which makes sense.
Long story short, I'll never go back to the Anniversary Inn and I'd rather stay at the cheapest hotel available.
Stayed at Anniversary Inn several times over the years. Started with me forgetting the bounce back pass as I thought the number was sufficient when I made the reservation. Previous management said they could reprint (I had photos and all information). This management has no exceptions and zero flexibility. Even offered to pay full price and then FedEx it to them later for refund. Nope…. Cost me several hours time to go get it. The building and rooms are run down, but still fun. The rug had a 1997 date on it and wouldn’t be surprised if it had been there that long. The Orange Juice as other reviewers commented on was nasty. The cinnamon role was bite size at best (served on a pretty big plate which made it worse). Thought it was a bed and breakfast - almost embarrassed for them. My wife and I still had a good time and made the best of it :-)
These guys are crooks. We used to love staying here for anniversaries and birthdays. But after what they did this time. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation. She finally found it, and the person who took our reservation when we called made a mistake and scheduled it on the night we called instead of Saturday night. Luckily, they still had a room, or we would've had to go home. We used our bounce back coupon. So they should have only charged us for taxes. After a week after our stay at Anniversary Inn, they charged us full price for our stay. So we ended up paying double for our room. My husband talked to the manager, and he was going to look into it. But we have not been reimbursed. DO NOT STAY HERE! Their rooms are run down and they used to have a wonderful breakfast and now it's worse the a continental breakfast at a cheap hotel and they are dishonest!
We used to love staying here, but whoever the new management has taken this place downhill! We had to switch rooms because the heater was broken in our room (end of November). They also don’t tell you that they only have 12 of the breakfast entrees and if you aren’t the first 12 you get cold toast and eggs. They also didn’t bring our drinks. Room service has also been taken away. You’re better off going to a nice hotel because you’ll save money and have a more enjoyable time. Super disappointed on how downhill it’s gone.
I have always loved Anniversary Inn. We have stayed many times and have used the bounce back option many times as well. This last stay we purchased 3 bounce back gift cards as gifts. The first recipient of the bounce bad did not have any issues using it. The second recipient was haggled at the front desk when they said it paid for ANY room ANY day and all they had to pay were taxes. The third was a gift to my parents. They stayed on a Thursday evening and were charged an extra $70 on top of the bounce back which SHOULD have covered the room (except for taxes). I contacted the manager who admits an error in the system caused the over charge and was told a refund of $40 would be issued. 11 days later we are still waiting for the refund. I called again and was told that the note said the “refund was issued”. I reminded the front desk help I was told to call back if it was not received. I am frustrated that what should have been a great experience is now tainted with this run around on the refund and the issue of staff not knowing how to use the bounce back gift cards. I don’t think I’ll be dropping $600+ again for these gift cards. Just beware that if you use the bounce back you may have some issues that kind of defeat the purpose of even getting it???????? Good luck! Breakfast isn’t what it used to be either…
