Cute rooms with fun ideas. Front desk staff definitely had some work to do on hospitality. Trying to make a guest happy would be what I think they would want to do. Only offer one breakfast choice entrée with no other options but side items. Please go back to at least two options. The kids working the front desk seem to want you not to be their problem rather than help think of a way to help solve the actual problem. Still enjoyed my time in the room. Hospitality Hospitality please.
We were super excited to stay in the Hawaiian Paradise #25 Emersld Suite. It has been probably 15 years since we have stayed here previously. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. It was a surprise from my husband for my birthday weekend. The room for the over $300 a night price was very underwhelming with dirty carpet, outdated bedding and pillows, no door on the bathroom. It definitely needed a lot of property updating. Better options for the breakfast that we paid for would also be a great investment.
When we checked in they gave us the 2 options for breakfast and neither sounded good to us so we opted out of the breakfast. The second day, we ordered the breakfast for 9am. Checked at 9, no breakfast. Checked at 9:15, no breakfast. 9:30 I tried calling, no answer. I went to the front desk and rang the bell several times. No answer. So we didn’t get breakfast this day either. When we checked out and I mentioned it to the guy, all he just said “oh, you didn’t get it?” Then just stared at me. I could probably have gotten past the outdated room, but the service would have made up for it, had we had good service. From start to finish it was mediocre service. Nothing special room anyone we encountered. This will probably never be an option for us again as I can’t see paying that price for a room like what we had.
There was also kids in the parking lot late at night going from the houses up on the hill to the park.
My Fiance and I stayed in the Romeo and Juliet Suite. It was our first time, and we both loved it! The room was amazing. The atmosphere,and decor was magical. The service and breakfast in bed was great! We have already decided to make this one of our traditions! A&J
My partner and I have been planning on staying at an Anniversary Inn for years. It has been a dream destination. We finally were able to stay here last night and we called previously asking how to pay with a gift card. They said to use it when we got there. The new girl checking us in was very helpful and kind but told us to wait until the morning to speak with the manager about the gift card. The manager, Samantha, was the exact opposite. We found out that they switched owners and now their gift cards (which explicitly state no expiration date) now expire within two years. So a magical time that we had immediately dissipated. We didn’t get an apology or any form of consolation. We were rudely told we’re basically SOL. We understand that ownership and policies can change. But a complete lack of kindness and understanding towards customers from the *Manager* is extremely disappointing. We will not be staying here again.
Room was fun, location was great, service was ok. Food was good and decent price. Loved the morning room service and the ability to order food to the room. Only reason knocked to 4 star for service was we had ordered food one time and never got it and our last day there we were really limited on what we could order for breakfast as they were out of a lot. But the room was great, location was great (quiet and easy to walk places (stadium, zoo, river, etc). Would definitely stay again
Very nice suites. My wife and I loved the presidential suite for our 8 year anniversary. We had a great time and will visit again. The Jacuzzi was amazing and relaxing. The bed was super comfortable and the environment was in inviting. The air conditioner worked like a charm and kept the room at a good temperature. Will be coming back next year anniversary.
It was our first time ever coming here and our stay was good over all. We staid in the Biker Road house which is Harley Davidson themed. We really liked all the decorations and having a real bike in the room was pretty cool ????
I paid for a package deal to have earlier check in and late check out. When we arrived they didn't have what I paid for which they had 3 weeks to make sure it was available. They did however make it up by giving us something else. The staff were very helpful and kind. We got to check out all the other rooms and will definitely be back.
Breakfast came on time and was yummy except for the fake bacon and sausage ????
Over all everything was excellent! It was our 5 year anniversary and it made it special staying here.
My husband and I received our stay as a gift on our wedding night. We were starving after arriving that evening and ordered some food that I was surprised was cooked and pretty great! The front desk has bubble bath and rubber duckies for your HUGE bath which is cute along with DVD rentals up front should you need them. We stayed our first night in the Presidential Suite and it was HUGE and amazing! We had to check out for our second night and come back and our stay was in the Marble Suite also amazing in a different way. We used way too much bubble bath and had complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies from the front lobby and sparkling cider in our rooms each night. I don't know if it was special because we were newlyweds or if it was because it was the standard. Our stay was the weekend of 7/20/24. I definitely had my doubts before staying here because I've lived in Idaho so long I remember when this hotel first opened! The rooms have changed somewhat over the years and it was a very "Gilmore Girls" 90's hotel vibe like coming home and after staying there I can see why people come back every year! So cute and we plan to make this our yearly stay as well, thank you for making us feel like home away from home and providing us with new experiences. Plus we were so close to downtown that we were able to dine at Ruth's Chris and have a fridge for leftovers in our rooms! Tour the art museum and Zoo and so many things because of their great location! See you next year or sooner! The Jenkins!
