Annies Cafe & Bar Review
Starting my day early at the airport, Annies Cafe & Bar delivered exactly what I needed. At 5:30 am, the latte was perfect—smooth and satisfying, hitting the spot for my caffeine fix. The cinnamon roll was a delightful treat, fresh and flavorful. My only small wish was that it could have been warmed, but even so, it was still delicious. A great way to kick off a travel day! Would definitely stop by again.
You get what you expect. They clearly do baked goods, you can see the storage to keep things fresh. So my cinnamon roll was pretty good for $5.40 and cold. But yeah maybe some of their other options aren’t great. Airport food is never gonna hit the quality/price we want but I’d get that cinnamon roll again
I am a frequent flyer and I have visited this restaurant a few times. I wish I can rate them higher, but it doesn't seem to get any better.
I would suggest to explore other options.
Here are few things to note.
Food selection: average. Limited sandwich options, bakery options are average.
Service: Slow and employees are on the phones .
Prices: high compared to food selection and available choices.
Hope the management is seeking to get better.
Grab and go places carry pretty much the same and decent on the pocket.
I was hesitant because of some of the reviews but it was good, especially for airport food. I got the sampler. It was $13.20. I wish every airport had this place. The feta/chickpea was my favorite. Pesto and kale Caesar were decent and so was the carrot horseradish - interesting combo! The staff was very kind and even offered for me to try the horseradish carrot one before deciding. Live music in sitting area.
Awesome. Had a late flight out of Austin airport. Food was still fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful so many good items cannot make a decision. I ordered the sourdough, turkey and brie sandwich and then the salads are so delicious. Actually ended up getting two additional salads. Try the Texas caviar it’s a surprise!
I got the kale caesar salad and I was really disappointed. It was not good and I couldn’t even eat it. Kale is supposed to be marinated or slightly wilted when put in a salad, because it is tough. But this salad was just raw inedible kale. Also, the dressing was not at all tasty. I was pleased to see healthy salad options at the airport, but it wasn’t done right.
Great vegetarian breakfast tacos full of eggs, potato, avocado and comes with amazing sauce. A healthy sized cup of tea and after the two taco's I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day which was great for travelling back to Mexico.
They have a huge range of healthy options, salads and vegetarian stuff which was such a nice surprise and I kind of wanted to eat everything there. All the other customers looked very satisfied and the locals I spoke with said it was the best place to go for coffee.
Turkey and brie sandwich only has that, lettuce, and tomato. $16 not worth it
Chicken caesar salad does have some red bell peppers in it. $13 still not worth it
Everything is tiny for the price and the card machine is set up for mandatory tips. Nice place to sit.
