Best WLM Reviews

First of all food is cold, it sits in the window while they talk. They slow by taking too many orders at one time. The Bacon just stacks hi not hot at all. The only thing that might come out hot is eggs. But then cook then put them in a bucket until your number is called.Dont waste your time with lemonade they fill your cup with ice and then add one scoop. It's about 15 minutes now and I'm still waiting for 2 tacos. If you don't do anything right about breakfast why try the burgers.
I've been going here since I was a little kid. It's been over 10 years since I had eaten at annies, tho. I was on that side of town and decided to visit them for a burger. I'm happy to say they are just as good as when I was a kid. The food hasn't changed at all, the building has changed a little bit but that's all. Burgers are delicious as always, just what I wanted. I got a bacon cheese burger. They still make bacon fresh and crispy throughout the day. I remember as a kid there was always a big pile of bacon always ready to go. The frys are hot and crispy. Chocolate shake is also really good. I remember they had the best breakfast, too. Annies' breakfast was always my favorite. I'll be going back for breakfast one day. They always had the best biscuits and gravy!!! The building is clean, and the tables, chairs, and floor are clean. It's an old building, and it has been in the same spot since I was a kid, so don't mind the old building. Finding a good burger is hard these days, but Annies is a nice local hidden gem of Houston. It's a great place!!!
Used to come here for lunch when I worked nearby, and it was always a favorite. You just can't go wrong at Annie's. It's been years, now. I don't live or work close to this spot anymore, but today I happened to be on South Post Oak at breakfast time and OMG they're still here, still killing it. First time here for breakfast. Why did I wait so long? Worth a drive out of your way. It's that good.
Used to come here for burgers because I lived down the street. Now I visit occasionally because the breakfasts are awesome. Today, I had tacos w egg cheese and potatoes. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and not too dry. The cheese was noticeable but not overwhelming. The potatoes were perfectly done, with just a bit of crispiness . The salsa was homemade and a perfect accompaniment. Bottom line, they took the simplest ingredients and cooked/assembled them perfectly. Others in our group had pancakes, waffles, or eggs, and not a crumb was left on any of their plates. Coffee was fresh, though basic, which follows the theme of doing the basics very very well. Gordon Ramsey might even appreciate the simple, ample breakfasts served at Annie's.
Delicious, highly recommended! Vintage style and super fresh food
Food is good. Went there for breakfast. Big portions, bring an appetite. Inside is similar to it's insides 30 years ago, may need some upgrades. To me it's like a hole in the wall with good food at affordable prices. Family friendly as well.
Annie's Hamburgers ???? is a staple in the community and has been great food and great service for over 30 years. What I love and appreciate about Annie's is the fact they haven't tried to fit in with the new ways of how new burger joints are following the current fads of burger making. Annie's Hamburgers stick to their script and, along with the amazing service, is what I believe gives them the lead of staying above the rest. Also, don't sleep on their breakfast! It's amazing. Definitely try the biscuits scratch made!
Food was delicious, the main eating area was a little warm but the side dining room was very comfortable! The lemonade was wonderful. Bathroom doors are cute, check them out.
