Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The waitresses have always been VERY nice, quick and helpful. The restaurant itself is very reminiscent of good American comfort food restaurants of decades ago without being "rundown" or unkempt. The food is excellent. Simple dishes that come outfresh made, blazing hot and flavorful. On a side note, coming from someone who has a hard time with bright lights causing migraines, the dimmers at the tables may not mean much to most, but to me they're AMAZING ????????
Carolyn was our server and she was stellar! Such a sweet lady and made sure we were well taken care of. The Reuben here is to DIE for- it was so delicious!!
Wanted a quick bite decided to try this cozy place. The atmosphere is lowkey! Our order has consisted as a Patty Melt w Fries, Cheeseburger w Fries and Cinnamon Roll and Carrot Cake. Definitely will go back!
Had the pot roast with mashed potatoes, gravy,and green beans. Best meal I have had outside of my home in a very long time. My granddaughters wanted pancakes,but it was lunchtime. The cook made them pancakes!!
Did Annie’s sell the restaurant because the food was nothing like I have had in the past. Chicken fried steak was horrible and flat, not crispy as before. And the carrot cake was dry. So disappointing.
Waitress was slow to order our drinks and serve them. Three different food orders got screwed up by the cook. You all need to have two waitresses taken orders when it comes to a party of 10 or more and same for cooks!!! Had to get our own coffee .Won't be going back there ever again. Don't know if it's the same owners that I remember but I sure hope not.
The owner was beyond friendly. The food was beyond bad. I got chicken fried chicken and an extra side of Mac and cheese. Entire meal was nice and hot even 15 minutes after leaving, but the chicken was more burned than fried, very little coating and extremely greasy on bottom. The potatoes are mashed but are thick enough to be a patty and flavorless. The chicken gravy was the most watery gravy I've ever had. The chicken meat quality itself was poor. Hard, chewy and lacking flavor. The Mac and cheese was a 2/5. It was ok. Boxed kraft with nothing added would have still been better. Very clean establishment and very kind workers.
This restaurant should be renamed "Atrocious!" Never experienced such a horrible restaurant. Made reservations for a party of about 13 for a small family get together. We had to ask for refills multiple times, often by getting up ourselves to go ask. We had to get our own napkins. There were no lights on what-so-ever and it was pretty dark inside. We waited about an hour for mediocre food. Horrible staff. All the employees were standing around playing on their phones. Some of the plates were completely wrong, with the wrong food and the wrong sides. The waitress lied to us, adjusted our ticket, added something on that wasn't correct, but stated that's what I ordered when 10 other people clearly heard what was ordered. The waitress up-charged our ticket to get more money. This restaurant is in a horrible state, I don't see how it's even possible they have good reviews, they are clearly fake. The food is of similar quality as Chilis or Applebee's, so please spare yourself the headache and poor service and just go elsewhere. I love Carrot Cake, but theirs was definitely not Carrot Cake, it was rubbery unflavored bread with some frosting. Overpriced! Never again!
