went for my 21st birthday had a very traumatizing experience. all my friends got id’d and inside the bar. passed two bouncers and the manager. a third bouncer walked up to the second women with a purse at the back of the bar and asked to go through her purse. that’s okay but she asked why (bc we’re at the back of the bar and didn’t ask anyone else) he IMMEDIATELY grabbed her and pushed her against the booth and told her to leave. ended in an altercation with two other women. did not ask first if she could leave he used force before we could register what was happening!!! we called the cops and the supervisor said he was “good friends with the owner” they told us they couldn’t see anything on the cameras. i don’t know if this man was drunk or just power hungry but i have a video of him threatening to beat us after we were leaving. we watched people enter after and not a single person was asked to see their bags. WHY DID THIS HAPPEN
This isn’t a true Irish pub. It’s a normal bar that I guess turns into a club atmosphere at night? I went there on a Saturday night expecting Irish pub things, like a quiet welcoming atmosphere, a glass of Guinness and some good food. They had a bouncer at the door, served beer out of plastic cups, and took my barstool for “when it gets crowded.” Oh, and not to mention they were out of 3/6 beer taps, including Guinness. After they took my stool, I left and there were maybe 10 people in there. I’m giving it three starts because it might be decent during the day, but at night, there is nothing about it that is an Irish Pub. Should just be called Annie’s Bar. Again, could be a decent place, but by late night it isn’t a pub.
Loud, Exciting, Down Town. If you want to feel like you’re in a poppin college pub this is the spot. Lots of young fruitful folks. Be ready to party!
I was wondering what time you open? I went to google.and it says 4 pm on a Tuesday. I went to your website, and it says 3 PM on Tuesday. I walked 7 blocks counting on one of your times being correct. I was very disappointed and upset that neither one of your posted hours was correct. People count on their phones for this information. Please update your information.
Will never be back. Bartender working outside couldent tell us any of the beers they had.
Very disrespectful to my wife and sister. He told us to walk around the bar to look into the fridge to see what they had. Asked for an Old Fashioned, he said they don't make them there. Eventually asked for two fingers of whisky and he didn't know what that ment.
Save your money, find a better bar.
The cleanest thing here is the port-a-john. The restrooms are gross. The area of the kitchen that can be seen from the floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned in some time. The draft beer that I ordered tasted like dirt and grime. I offered my girlfriend a taste to see if it was just me, but she refused because it smelled bad.
The staff is great, but the best customer sevice can't fix logistical problems.
John, the bouncer, was disrespectful to our group as we entered the bar. Asked for a hug from our group and refused to let someone enter because she said no. And then proceeded to tell her that his girlfriend was prettier. The disrespect was insane
the dj at annie’s that plays on friday nights (mustache and beard with a black hat) sucks at transitions. his music sucks and it was raping my ears all night. my friends agreed. we asked him to change the music to which he refused. what kind of service is this? i would rate it zero if i could.
