We found this little gem of a place while we were leaving Crater Lake national Park. We were hungry so we decided to stop in. We went to the gift shop first and found all kinds of nice gifts for our friends and family. Then we went to the restaurant. My son and I both ordered the mac & cheese with pork belly. It was very good, but the portion was extremely large and although we were quite hungry, we could not finish even half of it. I also had a small cup of chili, which was very tasty. Service was friendly and very fast, the food was good, and we left quite satisfied. Also, the prices were reasonable.
Annie Creek Restaurant is right outside the entrance of Crater Lake National Park! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. The gift shop is also very nice, well-stocked – even more so than some of the gift shops within the park itself. If you're visiting Crater Lake, don't miss out on this fantastic spot!
You have to order with the hostess/host first before sitting down. After our food was ready and the cook yelled order up. It sat there for about 5 minutes. I had to ask the person up front if we grab it ourselves or they bring it to us. She said they bring it to you. Then a couple minutes later brought it to us. Then both burgers we ordered only had one pickle chip on them. One of the burgers had two top buns and the other had two bottom buns. Table was dirty as well
This place isn’t as well kept as the Lodge. Floor was dirty, Bathrooms smelled so so bad. Cashier literally sitting on her phone unless you walk up there to check out. Just thought it should be cleaner.
Very tasty and convenient place. The order was taken quickly, and we didn't have to wait long. We took food to go. Thank you!
We visited the Annie Creek restaurant and gift shop on a weekend, mid June, 2023. The gift shop was nice, with a good selection. They had restrooms that were fairly clean, considering the amount of people that use them.
The restaurant was very nice and rustic. Service was good. Although they make you order than tip up front before you even leave the counter. I don't like tip before service atmosphere. I feel like it's extortion. I tip for service. Not because I worry about retaliation if I don't tip. And tips are supposed to be for service. Not expected for what ever service you get. So I feel like I was extorted.
We ordered a pepperoni pizza. With tip it was $30 with water only. The pizza was filling. But it was the large dough type. It was filling. But it tasted just like a frozen pizza from your local supermarket. Not very good. And definitely not worth $30. But we wanted to support the business, so that it would be there for people to use.
All in all it was a nice visit. The lunch filled our bellies. But wasn't very good and cost a lot. But keep in mind, there are not a lot of options close by. So maybe try another dish.
We did not eat here but nice place to get last minute gifts if you’re heading out of the park and not planning to go back to the lodge/lake/info center where the other gifts shops are. Those have a bit more selection depending if you are at the national park (less selections) or the non national park shop (more selections). We got a magnet on our way out but kinda pricy at $9.99 despite the sign listing them at $7.99. Kinda misleading with the pricing unless they didn’t update it or we got rung up wrong?
We happened upon this place on the way back from hiking Mt. Scott. The prices were fairly reasonable and the food was quite delicious. We ordered the fish and chips, cheeseburger, chicken tenders, and 3 bean chili. I’d recommend all of them. We’ll definitely return if we are in the area again.
