Best WLM Reviews
We've been meaning to try this after moving to the area last year. What a great no-frills seafood place. You seat yourself and grab some paper to cover your table.
There is a room with raw items, that you can get steamed (crabs, crab legs, mussels, shrimp, clams, veggies, etc). We ordered a dozen raw oysters for $18. They also have beer by the bottle or on tap too. There is also another room where you can order fried/baked items and salads, and soups (crab cakes, fried oysters, hush puppies, etc).
They have a service area with all the sauces, seasonings, vinegars, cocktail sauce, old bay, etc).
Prices are great, everything is fresh, and very casual. Great spot to bring an out of town guest who wants to sample all the MD seafood has to offer.
What a great find! Food was delicious… fried perfection… employees friendly and helpful! Wish we had a place like this back home! I will definitely be back when in the area again!
We went with a sample platter. The shrimp and crab were the best! Next time I would only get those. The kids got chicken strips and fries and those were good too. The selection is great! So many options.
Crab and oyster quality was amazing. Loved the raw oysters on the half shell. Ordered potato salad but got macaroni salad which was also very good. Sandwich, salad and crabs need to be ordered in the other section. Seafood sampler missed an ear of corn but they fixed it right away. The corn was super sweet and loaded with butter. The price for a pitcher of premium beer was also reasonable. Will definitely return next time in the area.
LISTEN UP when I first came to this restaurant about a week and a half ago I didn't know how OBSESSED I'd be with this place. The amount of food you get is amazing and cost efficient, they also have SOOOOO MUCH to choose from! In one part of this place is basically the steaming station/raw bar and where you can get your brewskis. Since my first visit I have been back four times within this past week. The staff was SO KIND and helpful, made it such a good experience! They didn't mind that it took me a minute to figure out what I wanted, they served with a smile, and they answered any questions I had. OKAY STAY WITH ME NOW they also on the other side have where you can get full trays of crab, sandwiches, crab salads, and so many sides. You can dine in or carry out which is AMAZING and the food is still great either way! They have an array of sauces such as hot sauce, tartar sauce, Worcestershire sauce, old bay seasoning, lemons, crackers, utensils, crab cracking mallets, and paper to rip and put on your table for easy clean up. I love love love this place. CHECK IT OUT!
My first time here. I don't eat crabs but my eating companions loved them. I had a fried soft ???? and shrimp macaroni salad ???? delicious
It was a beautiful day to enjoy shrimp, crab, mussels, clam, crayfish, and corn-on-the-cob.
Clean, no fishy smells, and not crowded on a week day in the afternoon. There's plenty of seating with options to sit outdoors, too.
There's a separate area to order dessert and to take home food to eat at home.
Whatever you can't finish can be taken home. Just ask for a to-go container.
Highly recommended.
This is our hands down favorite place for crabs and a casual seafood meal. They try hard to make sure everything is right the first time. Last night Tim enjoyed their $1 oyster night. He said they were very good and clean- and they were huge! I had snow crabs and littleneck clams, steamed; they were both very good. We shared a fried scallop platter and fried shrimp platter. Did u know they bread them themselves?! So fresh! I love scallops in buffalo sauce! If you haven’t tried it, you should. It’s a Maine thing!! Anyway, we finished with funnel cake fries! I may go there just for those!!!! There are only 4 pictures bc I forgot to take more and my hands were dirty!
