Best WLM Reviews
Only the name looks like Indian, but the food is incredible. Don’t expect authentic indian food. I ordered puri, masala vada and masala dosa, but I got frozen pita bread fried in oil in place of puri, I have never seen such a puri anywhere else. Masala vada was over burnt. I have never tasted a dosa like this ever before. Coconut chutney was frozen mixed in warm water. The puri curry served came with a vessels button, later they replaced with another bowl with same curry in it.
High vibe blessings place, love the menu highlights dietary needs, dedicated to nurturing Soulful physical self. Yum. Enjoyed Dosa Masala with coconut chutney. Thali plate has good variety. Dosa is light, lots of holes in it, perfect. Hot chai with soy mmmmmmm. Wish more of this restaurant everywhere I travel. Great heart servers.
This is not an Indian vegetarian place. It is a vegan restaurant. They mislead with their oat milk masala chai and samosa. The worst I have ever eaten. The chai is tasteless and was served cold. Samosa was an abomination. Very costly.
I’ve been coming to Annapurna since 2010, and it’s been one of my favorite spots for over a decade. One of the things that made this place truly special for me was their house-made ketchup. It had a unique flavor, made with agave, and it always elevated the dishes. I’d even buy it separately because it was that good!
When I noticed the switch to regular organic Heinz ketchup, I really missed that original touch. It was something that set Annapurna apart and made it feel extra special. So, I reached out to share my feedback.
I want to thank the owner for listening and for bringing the house-made ketchup back! It’s such a thoughtful gesture that shows how much they value their customers. I truly appreciate that kind of responsiveness—it’s one of the reasons I love this place and recommend it to friends.
Annapurna continues to be a place I cherish, whether I’m dining in or ordering through DoorDash. Thank you again for bringing back the homemade ketchup and for making this place a local gem!
There is a variety of food options. The Vegetarian Burger is good but a bit spicy for me. The fries were good and crispy. One does have to wait a bit for the food. There is ample seating inside & some outside.
“Is this the lowest level of restaurant that you have been” asked my new 11 year old friend when I took her and her mom for the first time to a vegan restaurant here. That probably says a lot even though she liked the bean soup. I don’t think that anyone comes here for ambience or great service, or to see nicely dressed people. Food is usually good but the quality varies from time to time, and by location. My favorite is stir fry with coconut milk. It’s much better in their Eubank location in Albuquerque. This was more watery and tasted salty. I prefer my broccoli be all green. They don’t seem to pay much attention to the quality of the vegetables. Sorry that I couldn’t give full five stars.
Are you vegan or vegetarian? Do you believe that what you eat can define you? Do you like really, really clean, delicious, invigorating food? All of the above? Get over here!
I haven’t seen a place this charmingly interesting since since I chased that arms dealer around Minos. Every day new vegetable special soups, Indian and Nepalese inspired dishes, and come on…..the Pad Thai is one of the best I’ve had. They even have a fantastically authentic tasting vegan saag (something I typically have to miss out on, but not here!)
Tea and coffee selections are amazing, baked goods for sale, excellent service, the place looks amazing. Every time we stop through Santa Fe, we always stop at Annapurna’s.
Absorb the amazing concept, savor the uniquely incredible dishes, feel the complete food heal and ignite your senses. You can’t go wrong.
I come here whenever I’m in Santa Fe. So many good vegan and vegetarian dishes! The masala fries are the best fries I’ve ever had, and you can pick two sauces on the side (the chipotle oil is incredible). The faux BLT is good, but my go-to is the masala dosa, which is even better cold (get one to go and eat it for lunch the next day!). Most of the desserts are labeled vegan and GF, and I haven’t tried any of them.
Lastly I must address the vibes. Yes, it has cult vibes. Just take your incredibly good vegetarian food and don’t ask questions!
