Best WLM Reviews

I can't thank Annapoorna Kitchen enough for the incredible catering they provided for my son Francesco's birthday party! From the very beginning, the owner was a delight to work with — so attentive, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about creating a memorable experience. They worked closely with us to customize the menu, ensuring that there was something for everyone, from mild to spicy, and all of it bursting with authentic, vibrant flavors as we had a mixed crowd from different countries.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the deliciousness of every dish — the biryani was fragrant and perfectly spiced, the butter chicken was creamy and rich, and the samosas were a crowd favorite. The naan was freshly baked and served warm, and the selection of chutneys added the perfect finishing touch to each dish.
The presentation of the food was beautiful, and everything was delivered on time, hot, and ready to serve. It made the event stress-free, allowing us to focus on enjoying the party.
If you're looking for a caterer who delivers not only outstanding food but also a heartfelt, professional experience. We will definitely be back for future celebrations!
Thank you so much for making Francesco’s birthday truly unforgettable!
We catered a large graduation event for over 150 people. The team at Annapoorna did a fantastic job.. live stations, tasty food, great crew, unique menu.. the set up was classy, presentation was excellent.
Overall Great
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Annapoorna Kitchen in Frisco, Texas, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The star of the evening was the Lamb Curry, which was absolutely delicious. The rich, flavorful sauce combined with perfectly cooked, tender lamb made for a memorable dish that I would highly recommend to anyone.
The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish.
Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, Annapoorna Kitchen is a must-visit. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience make it a standout choice in Frisco. I highly recommend Annapoorna Kitchen to everyone – you won't be disappointed!
Found out today that this place has new management now. We loved the new menu items. Dabelis (they serve two but I remembered to take a picture only after we finished the first ) were really good!! The masala (stuffing) brings it together with the appropriate spice and tangy mix. The vada pavs and chilli momos were classically good too. The pav bhaji wasn't anything like we were expecting coming in as Mumbaikars or something you would get at any other store here. However, we loved this too! They also gave me some yogurt when I looked like I couldn't handle the spice!!
This place is under new management. The food is authentic Indian. Garlic naan is excellent. Buffet has lot of choices in Veg and non-Veg. They add new dishes to the buffet so it is a fresh change. One of the few places in FRISCO /Mckinney which serves lunch buffet.
Update: June 22visited again. Food selection is even better. Enjoyed the Chilli French fries.
It has been a very pleasurable experience every time I visited Annapurna. Hari, the chef, takes extreme care and interest in preparing the food for your palate. I have to say that he makes the best pav bhaji in all DFW areas. Very authentic bombay taste. Given the fact that I carry food allergies , they make sure I am comfortable every time. This place has become a go-to restaurant for me.. Please visit and you will not be disappointed.
Based on the Chef/Owner’s recommendation, we ordered their house favorites - Veg Momos and Pav Bhaji. Both items were delicious. We also loved Samosa chaat. Their Bombay street food items seem to be very popular apart from the Momos. We will visit again soon.
We have been grabbing take out since Annaporna Kitchen opened. The food has always been excellent and we have been thrilled with the quality of the food, and the way it is prepared. Recently, we have seen a decline, and I'm now learning this is possibly due to a change in ownership. As a non-Indian, the food that we ordered catered to our style of taste, but this has changed quite dramatically.
Tonight we ordered the same dishes we have been ordering for the past couple of years, and two of the dishes were swimming in oil (Chicken Tikka Masala and Paneer Tikka Masala) [pictured], and were not even close to the "normal" color we have experienced in the past. I have never seen a Tikka Masala this color (kind of a dark reddish brown). The Palak Paneer had an odd taste to it, and it seems like the new owners may prefer frozen spinach to the fresh spinach previously served (not sure what else it could be). Also, this dish the last time it was ordered was way too salty (inedible for me).
On a positive side, the naan is incredible and is a definite improvement to what was previously served, especially the garlic naan.
I'm hopeful this is a short lived issue as the new management settles in. We also understand that the "American-style" (or the "white version") of the food that we have loved for the time we have been frequenting Annapoorna may be a thing of the past. We will be back to try our dishes again at least one more time.
Note, I didn't rate atmosphere as we have never eaten in the restaurant.
