If you’re in the East Rutherford area, Annabella’s House of Mozzarella is a place you don’t want to miss! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so welcoming. We started with the calamari, and it was amazing—crispy, tender, and served with a flavorful tomato sauce that hit the spot.
For the main course, the Pollo Campagna was incredible. The chicken was so tender and packed with flavor, and the artichoke sauce made it even better. It was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while.
The live music on Friday night was a perfect touch and really set a fun mood for the evening. Bill, our host, was super friendly and took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re looking for great food, awesome service, and a fun vibe, Annabella’s is definitely worth checking out! Highly recommend it!
Fantastic as always. Great intimate atmosphere. Great drinks (mozzarella martini & old fashioned with the frozen fruit). Delicious mozzarella. This visit we enjoyed the Chuck wagon and the snapper- would definitely recommend the Chuck wagon made with flank steak.

Great early dinner here at 4pm on Tuesday. The Annibellas mozzarella and bread is a great appetizer, but I shouldn't have gotten it! I could only finish half of my Stupid Cupid sandwich. Big portions, that taste good. Plenty of brews and other drinks to choose from.
Outstanding food and service. We ordered an eggplant wrap, NY Cheesecake, Ice Tea (unsweetened), an a Catch a Falling Star salad. Service was quick and food was delicious. Highly recommended. A big full bar with seating and a nice table layout . Italian deli and hot food.
For one of my first postpartum meals, I requested an Italian sub. Annabella’s was close by and it was really the only places that served Italian sammies that was still open, around 7 PM. We ordered the Alyssa’s Dream (salami, ham, mortadella, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, and vinegar) and the Capo di Tutti Capi (prosciutto, capicola, sopressata, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, and roasted peppers). I preferred Alyssa’s Dream, even though the oil and vinegar made it a bit soggy. I wasn’t a huge fan of the bread because it was chewier than I would have liked. However, it was a lot less chewy/hard than it looked. I don’t think I’ll be adding this to my go-to list, but it did the trick to satisfy the Italian sammie craving for the time being.
We had such a great time last night! The live music added a wonderful ambiance, with the pianist delivering a fantastic performance. The food was equally impressive, especially the homemade pasta and mozzarella, which were both delicious.
Overall, a delightful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.
I have ordered the Thanksgiving package for many years now and it continues to surpass my expectations. The food is outstanding! It tastes better than homemade, there is plenty per serving and the ease to warm it up makes Thanksgiving a much more enjoyable time with family. I highly recommend it! Thank you Billy and your wonderful staff.
A joint famous for their mozzarella obviously and their mozz really does shine in the sandwiches. All the sandwiches here are nothing short of amazing. We ended up getting The Mozzy and A Good Idea to go and god damn that sauce that comes with Good Idea is crack. Don't know what's in it, but you can be damn well sure that it pairs well with the sandwich. The charred bread with the Mozzy tasted perfect with eggplant and mozz. The mozzarella in each sandwich was fat and super generous and you got mozz in every bite of the sandwich. Can't knock their sandwich combos and I'll def be back to try more. If you're a fan of italian sandwiches, this is the place to go.
