I came in and the first thing I saw was meat trays stacked on each other. This is very unsanitary and horrible. One set of trays was with raw chicken and the other with cooked. See the photos. I should have left but I decided to try birria tacos. They were so salty that I almost choked. Also, birria tacos are supposed to have cheese and be grilled after they are assembled. Mine were not grilled. Worst birria I have ever tasted. Restaurant looks like it’s run by kids. Do not spend one dollar here.
I've been going to Anna's for many years and it's always delicious. The service is always pleasant and efficient (4 stars is a solid score - there just isn't really much opportunity for them to score 5 stars since it's so transactional). The dine-in experience is fine, but nothing fancy - which is good. The real win is the consistently solid food. Great for a quick meal on the go.
This Anna’s is the worst service. I went today, November 1st with my husband, and we both got a chicken burrito. I ordered mine first and my husband ordered second. They didn’t give my husband his burrito until another lady came up. And asked if he was served already. The chicken was expired, it was old. Tasted bad. Will not come back to Anna’s
I have lived in Boston and I now live in San Francisco. I would put Anna's up against most burritos I have had in SF. They taste great, are great quality (the carnitas remains one of the best I've had), are well constructed, well balanced, well priced, and have just the basics without unnecessary extras. Add jalapenos, just fantastic. My go to when back in Boston.
Went to this place because two different people said it would be better than another burrito place on that same street. It was the biggest disappointment.
What ruined my experience was the female worker that was preparing my bowl. She was making faces at me and looking like I was bothering her. I think the reason is because I look Hispanic and people expect me to speak Spanish and I don't, because I'm not hispanic. I get this reaction a lot they get mad or frustrated at me.
So it was rude of her to treat me like that based on her assumptions.
The Chicken was definitely not made on that day, I cook and I know what cooked chicken taste like after it's been sitting in the fridge for a day or two.
So, yeah... not that good.
I eat here a few times a week but lately they have been consistently messing up my orders. I attached a picture of my most recent "super" burrito, which by the looks of it, is actually a burrito made for a single ant. Seriously, fix your consistency! It's ridiculous.
We ate there Monday evening after a long road trip.
Three of us ordered burritos and I got two birria tacos. My friends were able to choose their burrito fillings. In summary, we all loved what we got and had a great time.
I've always wanted to try birria tacos and I'm so glad I did because they were delicious! The sauce was perfect and the beef was tender and juicy. It was also reasonably priced for Boston.
My friend got a horchata with his order and I should have done that as well. He said it was great.
The burrito is pretty good and better than average. Although it still lacks some flavor and spice. A bit bland for my taste. The chicken was too dry and hard too chew. Overall an ok place but not good as felipe in Harvard!
