Best WLM Reviews

We decided to give it a try because this eatery is known for having the best pizza in Apex. The tables are close together and the space is somewhat limited.
The ricotta pizza we ordered was delicious.
Great food, very fair prices, good service (guys behind the counter are always cool and appreciative) Have gone here many times since moving to the area!! Was time to write a review because this Italian Hero I’m eating right now is amazing! All ingredients are fresh from top to bottom. My other go to for a nice, big, filling meal is the Baked Tortellini with meat sauce. Once again, VERY fair prices for the quality and quantity of food. It’ll have you going back ????
We ordered two pizzas: The Rustica and a Ham and Pineapple. The pizzas were amazing. The crust was done to perfection and the sauce was well done.
It was great to have such an amazing Gluten free crust on the Rustica. We highly recommend it.
The Lobster Ravioli was good but not memorable. It's missing something....
We were shocked by the amazing dessert they brought us. Little pieces of cooked dough. Some smothered in powered sugar and the other with, what seemed to be cannoli filling. It came with two sauces. Simple yet incredible! Wow!
The restaurant itself was cozy and quaint. The seats are well worn. I definitely will be back!!
Thank you for a great experience!
I wish I can say this Apex staple isn't going down the tubes but it is. First, their rating is low. I can see why because the restaurant is filthy now. Dust inches thick on the blinds, windows, doors. Etc. if they don't care to clean where the customers eat, then my guess is they certainly don't care about the kitchen where customers can't see. Hence the low rating. We have complained to the wait staff who regretfully tell us the owner doesn't care to clean it and he hears this all the time. So sad. A lot of the locals are boycotting the place until he cleans the place up and the rating is higher.
Small cozy pizza place. Food was great. The spicy Chicken pizza is excellent. I got a cannoli to go and it was fabulous! A bit confusing when you come in as there was not a sign saying “grab a seat and we will be right with you”
4 stars instead of 5 only because the parking was challenging ( not really their fault) and I have to rate everything on the overall experience. Also, the fried zucchini sticks we had were cut too thick and were just soggy and tasteless. The fried ravioli, pizza, and calamari were delicious! The marinara sauce was so flavorful, that I even dipped my pizza crust in it and I *rarely* eat the crust. We had the chicken Parm pizza, which I'd highly recommend. Loved the homey old school pizza restaurant vibe. The seating was a little scarce but it does say something that the restaurant was full on a Sunday night. The service was kind and prompt. We will be back!
A charming little neighborhood restaurant with the most patient, friendly, service for our family. The kids played with a wide selection of old metal matchbox type vehicles. There is a cute little bar that seats maybe 6 people.
My slice of Sicilian was crispy and tasty and I even had leftovers to take home. I like the fresh tasting sauce for pasta and wanted to take the extra home, that's how I learned more about their service.
The aluminum pan was heavier than I expected, and since I picked it up with just one hand, it folded up and spilled out - hitting 2 of our tables and dripping through the crack to the floor. EMBARRASSING! But I inquired, and I am permitted to return in the future!
This place is ranked as the best place for pizza in Apex so we thought we would give it a try. This place is VERY small which would normally not be a deal breaker but the tables were extremely close together. The server had to squeeze between ours and another table and kept bumping into my seat. Neither time did she apologize. Besides the size of the place, the atmosphere and service was just ok. Nothing horrible but nothing stood out either. We were not greeted when we walked in. We randomly chose a table and sat ourselves. Our server was mediocre. She was nice enough and though she glanced our direction a couple times, she never checked on us until she brought the check. Now let's get down to the main attraction, the food! Though this place boasts it's New York style pizza, being born and raised in that area I can tell you it was far from it. The food looked good but it was bland, bland, bland. The pizza sauce tasted more like tomato paste and the toppings were definitely your run of the mill ingredients. I did see customers with other dishes that looked appetizing but again, looks can be deceiving. Overall, I gave this place a 3.0. Maybe it was just an off day. I'll let you be the judge of that.
