Terrific service by family of founder, the Greek salad was delicious, and the simple cheese pizza had crust crafted to perfection! Enjoyed this authentic Italian eatery with decades of history. Worth a small wait for our order, we enjoyed our visit and will return to sample other items on the menu, in the future.
Tried for the first time a week ago. It's not horrible. The service is really nice and they treat you like family.
We got the margherita pizza. I've had the real deal overseas and I was saddened when this one came up short. The basil was chopped really small, not a lot of it, lacked the flavor basil should, and cooked on there way too long. The cheese should be nice slices on top. The crust was good and the sauce did have flavor.
No better pizza ???? in Newport News!!! ????????
Salads ???? are wonderful and the Italian dishes sublime! Subs ???? and Fries ???? can't be beat.....
Check ✔️ them out next time you're Jones'n for good Italian!!
You can tell this spot is a local favorite based on the conversation between the regulars and the employees. It makes you super comfortable as soon as you come in. I got a slice of cheese and a slice of the combo. The pizza was decently good. I would go and explore the rest of their menu, or just get pizza again.
The best pizza in town. I've been going to this pizza place since I've been a kid in high school. The pizza still taste the same as the first. I've ever been in there all their foods. Could they're Italian? Sub are the best. Their salads are good. Everything in there is good with their chicken Philly. No, Philly sandwich is good all? I'm a good good place, real italians and they know how to fix food and good service too
I had a delivery. So no atmosphere rate. Delivery driver very nice. My complaint was the food! ????I ordered 2 large Italian subs. I kid you not there was 2 slices of meat on each large sub! I am really tired of getting crap and paying lots of money. $30 some dollars with a $7 tip! $40.00 for a bun lots of lettuce couple tomatoes and a few onions (my son ask for extra onions but no extra) I really don't care about how much or anything else that they put on my sub, but the meat thatwas theonethatdidme in!! One ham and one salami! REALLY! I WAS SO MAD!! I usually order from them BUT NO MORE!! NO MORE! THAT WAS REAL NASTY! 2 SEE THROUGH PIECES OF MEAT! THEY WERE VERY THIN! MAKING A KILLING ON SUBS! NOT FROM ME ANYMORE. $40 I CAN MAKE SOME AMAZING SUBS AT HOME!! AND I WILL!
I had the medium pepperoni pizza and thought it tasted good! I do think the pizza was a little too greasy and a little overpriced. The staff was nice and the place was clean! I do recommend trying out their food and I think their pizza is one of the better tasting pizza in Newport News!
Yesterday is the first time I ordered from them and was very very disappointed. The pizza dough was chewy and the subs was not tasty at all. 50.00 for a medium pizza and 2 subs is too much to waste on food that’s not good. Never had a philly steak sub to taste like that. With all these food recalls lately nothing is safe anymore. Maybe a new cook or something but I won’t be ordering from there anytime soon.
