A bit kitschy design if you’re familiar with the classic Michigan Big Boy restaurant layouts. The colors are bright, friendly, and updated. I just can’t help but notice the seating and isles look just like the Big Boys of old.
The food is spectacular. Today we tried Chicken & Waffles with Maple Butter, the Breakfast Lasagna, and Classic Egg Benedict. All excellent. The chicken was perfectly crisp and well seasoned. Perfect texture combined with the waffle and a healthy scoop of maple butter. The breakfast lasagna is a layered egg, meat, mushroom wedge that was soft and stacked with flavors. Finally the egg benny included perfectly poached eggs with yolks intact, hollandaise from scratch, tender ham, and soft English muffins.
Staff was friendly and attentive.
This places welcomes with warmth, fresh smiles and enriching ambience. I used to come here when I was in the area. Nothing has changed since 2years except for increased smiles and warmth. I specifically drove from Chicago to have Brunch here. So far the best brunch places in USA and most importantly has many vegan options - unlike other places with only oat meal or fruit cup????.

Wow! Just wow! This review is overdue as I went here last month while visiting a friend in town. They have an incredible vegan menu!!! I have eaten at wonderful vegan places all across the country and I have to say Anna’s vegan breakfasts are some of the best! I had the big breakfast one day and the chipotle southwest bowl another morning. The big breakfast blew me away. I haven’t been able to have all that deliciousness in one meal for years. It was such a treat. Everything was perfect. The coffee was also amazing. The chipotle bowl was super yummy as well. My friend really enjoyed her hippie hash. The decor/ambience was lovely too. I wish I lived in Kalamazoo just so I could come once a week for breakfast! Thank you so much for having such delicious vegan options! Can’t wait to visit my friend again! ;)
Ordered take out and did not receive half the items on the dish I ordered. Cooks Sandwich was supposed to come with avocado, cream cheese and green onion and there wasn’t any avocado, the smallest smear of cream cheese and tiny little shavings of green onion. Upon going to return/ask for a remake of the food I was told the avocado was picked off and the cream cheese was removed. Why would I waste my time and gas driving back if I picked the items off myself and wanted a refund. They ended up remaking the sandwich but those assumptions were ridiculous.
What a nice place to get together for a meal! This was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed. My meal was really delicious and then we had their cinnamon roll. Wow, was that good! And you have to see how the dining room is decorated - collections of all kinds: toasters, teapots, dishes... All fun and beautiful. A very nice place to eat and enjoy your surroundings.
Upon first walking into Anna‘s House, I noticed how very clean it is. Very friendly, hostess greets immediately with a smile, and the servers give friendly service. The servers had no problems with answering all of my questions about Anna’s House. All the employees are very polite, very courteous and very professional. The bathrooms Mel & Flow are extremely clean. The food is extremely good really enjoyed the Ruben sandwich and the sweet potato fries, my guest had a cheeseburger which was extremely good as well, there’s a lot of history on this wonderful establishment. The decor is full of beautiful toaster and teapot throughout the whole establishment giving such a very earthy, but nice vibe I would definitely recommend Anna’s House.
Had an amazing breakfast today at Anna's.
I had surgery on Friday and was a little iffy on going out since I was still sore and uncomfortable, but when someone else is going to clean up after a great breakfast and I didn't have to pay that was worth a little discomfort. LOL
The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean (including the bathroom), and the staff/service was top tier.
There was definitely a wait (it is/was Mother's Day), but you can avoid that with online check-in (which we used)

Very clean, a lot of staff. Waitress was attentive and verified my food could be prepared safely. Manager brought out my plate confirming how it was prepared. Was delicious and no reaction!! ♥️
