Best WLM Reviews
The food was good! The atmosphere is a 50's/40's vibe. They tried to seat us at a booth for 4 people with a group of 5 and I thought that was really weird. With the size of the plates and drinks it would never have worked. We asked to move to a different table and it was perfect after that. But the fact that we had to ask to sit at a table accommodating is very strange.
Super long wait during their Sunday morning rush. 65 min for party of 3. Checked in at 10:20am. The young ladies at the hostess stand were super friendly and polite. Our waitress was also accommodating and friendly. I ordered the French toast combo with eggs and sausage. Food was just ok. Didn’t care for the quality of the sausage. It seemed like it was a microwave brand. French toast was barely warm. I would have normally sent it back but didn’t know how long I would end up waiting. Food came out in a reasonable time. Prices seemed fair and competitive. My son ordered the Monte Cristo and he enjoyed it. I had to request butter with my French toast and there were a few creamers in a bowl on the table but no sweeteners of any kind.
4.8 stars
Liked it pretty much! We got there on a normal weekend and the restaurant was busy. Despite the crowd, we got seated in about 20 min.
We ordered a Mediterranean skillet bowl and twilight French toast full size. The food was amazing- the skillet was healthy, nutritious and delicious. The texture of French toast was between toast and cake- very special and creamy.
Recommended for someone who loves Sunday brunch ????
The bread pudding french toast was amazing! The 7 dollar fresh squeezed OJ was disappointing, as you can see from the pic, it was at least 75% foam.
Entrees average around $17.
2 juice, 1 entree, $31.80????
If I could give zero stars I would. Was not greeted upon walking in. Was told my to go order would be 15-20min and I waited for 43. I had to ask how much longer after I had already waited 15 extra min. I understand places are busy, however I saw my to go order sitting on the counter the entire time I was there, and thought I was waiting on my drinks to be made but when I finally received my food, the drinks had not been made yet. This was 42 min after my order was placed. I told them to take the drinks off so I don’t have to wait another half hour and when I got home, avocado toast looks brown and tastes awful and soggy, every other part of the meal is trash and disgusting. The quality of this restaurant has really taken a dive I’ve noticed and I will not be back again sadly. I had a terrible experience there, staff were unfriendly, no one checked on or had a clue what was going on. When I did go up to the host stand, the two hosts had a conversation about the customer before me after I had asked my question. 0/10 experience. Would not recommend to anyone and I used to really enjoy this place. Completely unprofessional. Do better.
First time going, and it was everything as I expected it to be. The food was delicious. Our lattes were made with exquisite flavor. It's definitely a place to keep going back to.
Out around town on a Saturday morning and needed some Brunch. First time visitors to Anna's House and was glad we found it. Nice decor and reminiscent of the 1950s/1960s. We ordered the Winter Shareable plate that comes with some special bacon, fruit waffles, and loaded tots (our favorite). Great food, friendly service, clean and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back. One suggestion, with the vintage 50s/60s theme, it would be great to play some background music from that period. Must go if you are in the area.
Super friendly service and excellent food. And giant cinnamon rolls. A tradition of the area and it can be a wait sometimes but it's worth it. I believe they're known for their fresh pressed juices but that's not really my thing. I had a waffle that came with brown sugar butter and my friend had the cinnamon roll.
